"We had a great time here on Mother's Day. I wish there were a couple of more items fit for a 7 year old, but we made do with the pizza. My beet appetizer was out of this world and my husbands Funghi pizza was delicious. We'll definitely be back again."

"Incredibly small gnocchi portion. The $38 ribeye was expertly trimmed and beautifully presented, but it was not tender as a rib eye is...especially for $38, very disappointing. Our server, Jennifer, was knowledgable and friendly, very nice. Good service, good atmosphere and mediocre overpriced food."

"Gorgeous Winter Park restaurant with a casual but sophisticated ambience, large bar area. Italian, but highly original menu. We split the "widow maker" pizza and three apps- less than $25 per person with some pizza left over. I don't often rave about a meatball appetizer, but the flavor and texture were memorable. Just a super place, and very reasonably priced. So worth a 40 minute drive to escape Disney hotel options."

"Have only eaten lunch here. The food is wonderful and different. My daughter and I were celebrating my parents ~~ my mother's birthday and the anniversary of my parents actual meeting, which was on my mother's birthday. Our waiter was kind enough to not only bring a dessert for my mother with a candle, but a dessert for my father with a candle as well!! And both were comped. Fun and energetic restaurant."

"Food was good, service was outstanding, although a little over exuberant. We were there for a special occasion & our server was very nice & excited to help us celebrate. The food was good but a little more on the average side, especially considering how much the bill ended up being. Atmosphere was pretty trendy & the it was super crowded. Of course it was loud because of the crowd. Over all a little above average, 3 1/2 stars - but we would probably try somewhere else next time since there are so many restaurants in the winter park area."

OUr server, while at first seemingly tring to speed us towards the next course, quickly adjusted to our service style and provided more "invisible" service. Yellow Tuna appitizer was INCREDIBLE as were the meatballs ( my regular pick) Veal Belly w/ fried egg was a tad too fatty but the gnocci was a great ending to our meal. Loved that they allowed us to decant our wine while we enjoyed a first round of cocktails. Overall, great food, but inform the server of how you plan to enjoy your meal so they can customize their service."

"I have been to Prato a handful of times, always for lunch and it's always perfect. I have never had a bad experience with the staff and any inconvenses that might have arised from our orders have been handled by management before we even know the problem excited.
On this particular night my reservations at Prato were a little different I was on a first date and I wanted things to go smoothly so upon finding out my date liked Italian I entrusted the help of the staff to make the night special and it was. Our waitress was helpful but gave us our privacy, the resturant was busy but not hectic or loud and the food was amazing as always. We left extremely happy and he asked me on a second date so I must have done something right. Thanks Prato!"

"Our server, Hannah, was fantastic. The food was spectacular. The only thing I didn't like was the polenta, which was served creamy style, when I prefer the cornbread-like texture version. Still, when I informed Hannah of this, she offered to take it off my bill (which I rejected of course, it was my mistake, not hers).
My friends loved it and it was their first time dining there. All in all, I will go back there again and again."

"This was our second visit to this restaurant. We shared a pasta and a pizza the other time. On this occasion we were with another couple for the evening. Our pizza with calabrian sausage had none that I ever tasted. My friend's wife showed me a piece that was about a quarter inch square. This is a spicy sausage that cannot be missed. The olive appetizer with caper berries had one of the latter. The crostini with shrimp had one shrimp for the four of us to share.
With regard to all of the dishes above, the absent ingredient was the "come on" ingredient on the menu description and the most expensive one.
The food was good, but not what we ordered and certainly not what we paid for."

"Prato is one of our favorite places in the whole Orlando area. Though our party of 6 could only make a reservation for up to 4 through Open Table (we made one 4-person reservation and one 2-person reservation), after a phone call, the restaurant accommodated us and allowed all six of us to sit at one table. We had a drink beforehand (the bartender crafted some of the finest drinks I've had in the area). The service was outstanding. Our waitress knew every detail of the menu like the back of her hand. Every person thought their food was excellent. The only very slight complaint we had was that a pizza that was ordered arrived long after everyone else's entree. If you're looking for an incredible evening, this is the place."

"I really liked my evening at Prato. The atmosphere, the service, attention to small details...everything is lovely; definitely a great date spot. For instance, they serve water in milk jars, the warm Edison light bulbs, stone walls and exposed rafters create a really great experience. My one complaint though, is that I was underwhelmed by the food.
While the taste of the food was really good, I feel that when compared to the price it just leaves you hungry for more. My friend got their meatballs - and they were pretty good, but it was roughly $12 for 3 meatballs. No noodles. No accouterments. Nothing really different about them. Just 3 meatballs. In the end, you pay more for atmosphere than for a creative menu with well thought out meals"

"The service was rushed, and while we asked for a quiet table, I don't think they have any. It is very noisy and is more bar/restaurant than restaurant/bar, as the bar sits right in the middle of the room and is a very busy bar scene. The menu was difficult to understand, however the carpaccio was very good and creative, as was the Kale salad. WE found the bread to be very mushy, and only olive oil was provided, no offer of butter, flavored or otherwise, no balsamic (Italian restaurant?). One fork had the tines bent (quality control), and all of the dishes were very salty. I was looking at the menu when the wine was poured for tasting, and the server said "can you taste it?", insinuating that I didn't know what to do. Very rushed."

"Great restaurant. Amazing food! The two of us shared everything: Meatballs, heirloom tomato salad, blood orange salad, widowmaker pizza, seafood pasta, and bigoli amatriciana pasta. No room for dessert! Every single bite of food was a party in my mouth. Zach was a great server, knowledgeable and great with suggestions but not pushy or pretentious. We love good restaurants but there's nothing more annoying than a server who thinks they need to have attitude just because the place it hot. Will definitely return!"
