"Good food. Good service. Good prices. Full bar and decent wine list. Funky, comfortable ambiance. Outdoor tables available. We could actually have a conversation w/o going hoarse. Parking garage across the street and around the corner. We enjoyed our dinner there with friends very much. This is the old New Times location and it can't seem to keep a tenant. Please go to this restaurant so it stays in business. You won't be disappointed and we need more places like this in the Grove."

"The place is glam, and the food is very good. I thought it was a nice 'date night' place while we were on vacation and strolling around in Coconut Grove. It's on a quieter street, which is nice. Those dining there should note that gratuity is included in the total when the check arrives."

"The food was ok, I expected more after reading all the reviews. However the service was great, everybody was very attentive and friendly. The decor was a bit funky.. But overall was a great place to hang out. Oh they also have $3 cocktail every Wednesday, which was another good thing."

"The food was delicious and the service was great. Wine list - not so good. They don't have a good selection of wines. The outside area misrepresents how the restaurant looks inside: classroom chairs and tables for outdoor sitting then beautiful furniture and ambiance inside...just an observation."

"Timo's is on a quieter street in Coconut Grove. The menu is made up of small plates, large plates, sides & salads, with a small raw menu as well. We did a combo of small plates & sides (3 total), which was plenty for us (2 girls). The waitress was very helpful and willing to speak honestly about the sizes of all the portions. The food was all good in a classed up bar-food kind of way (we ordered to that effect). The standout was probably the homemade ketchup though! The bar fills up during heat games--they offer free beer during the 1st quarter, and that makes for a pretty loud, energetic atmosphere. Worth a try if you're in the neighborhood."

"I have eaten at the Villa Mayfair multiple times and always emjoyed it...I at at the new incarnation Timo's Villa Mayfair two weeks age had a pleasant experince on a Friday night. This last time was on a Tuesday.....bad news...It started when I asked the server for pepper on the Ceasar Salad....instead of grinding it he plunked down the pepper grinder and walked away...was it because he was busy NO they were maybe 5 tables occupied...I ordered the Pork Chop (which I had eaten on my last visit and thought it was a Veal Chop when I first tased it) I asked for it to be prepared Medium with a hint of pink on the inside. It was Medium Rare..I am not a fan of Trichomoniasis it was brought back overcooked...not a good showing"

"Beautiful atmosphere with exceptional service. Most of what we ordered (bang bang shrimp, lamb chops, short ribs) was very tasty. The mussels, however, were so fishy and mushy that they were inedible. I never send anything back, but this was an exception. The staff was very gracious and accommodating, replacing the dish and also providing a free glass of wine. Overall, the food was not the best I have ever had, but if you order the right things, the meal can be very enjoyable and reasonably priced. The decor and service truly made for a wonderful evening."

"WOW! What a wonderful experience!!! Finally, we have a new choice for amazing cuisine at reasonable prices in the Grove. The Tuna Tartar was amazingly fresh, Roasted Cauliflower was decadent, and the Rack of Lamb was flavorful. Our server, Pablo, was friendly and fast. We will definitely be back."

"We were in Coconut Grove for the Arts Festival and saw a demo by Chef Chad at the culinary pavillion. The demo enticed us to eat at the restaurant, and we were certainly delighted that we did. The menu selections were varied. The preparation of dishes was precise. The taste was delicious and the prices moderate. Chef Chad was kind enough to visit with us after our meal. We look forward to returning on our next v isit to the area."
