"Parking was a problem as I am handicapped. this was due to blacktopping parking lot. Waitress was very good and accommodating. We had a wheelchair lady in our group and a chair was pulled out from table so she could fit .
Food was good. to-go boxes were sent home with two of our group. My walleye was tasty. I subbed a salad instead of potatoes and vegetable."

"Our service was poor. No one waited on our table or brought us water. We waited for awhile while people who had been seated after us got waited on. We then when to the buffet on our own. When we got back from the buffet no one had given us any water either. I asked one of the wait staff if we could have water. She asked where we were sitting and then said she would find our waitress. She did bring back water but said they were trying to figure out who our waiter was. She then came back and said there had been a glitch and it appeared no one had been assigned to wait on our table. She then said she would be our waitress."

"Rudy's is a bar and restaurant attached to a motel. While that generally tempers expectations, the food here is good and the wait staff is polite and attentive. We attended a Mothers Day brunch here. The food was very good and the crowd was not overwhelming, although it was clearly a popular choice. There were a few primary themes - kids' finger food, breakfast line, lunch/dinner line, and desserts. I would consider it to be a very decent brunch, better than many. You can't go wrong with Rudy's for a solid and tasty meal."

"Our timing was crucial - three parties had to be able to meet and travel together to Rudy's Red Eye. Two of the parties were getting off work at different locations. The reservation worked! That was the initial victory. Our arrival was barely on time. The hostess had our booth ready so we sat, visited, blessed our mother - grandmother (my wife) and ordered. The menu had items that the two grandchildren definitely enjoyed as did my wife and I. My hearing is poor but we had good conversation."

"Lots of people dining. Two in our party ordered Halibut-VERY long wait for food-mgr. came over & said kitchen has only 1 left- no problem changed order to salmon. Mgr came back w/a complimentary bottle of wine! Very nice touch! However, we wished the waitress would have come over and asked us if we would have liked dessert before leaving - that was a miss on their part."

Even though it was packed and the noise level was a bit high, I could actually hear the conversation at our table. We all commented on how nice it was to not strain to hear each other. A very pleasant night out!
So glad I had made on line reservations earlier in the day (made them about noon for 7pm).
My husband and I will make sure to go there again this summer to check out their rooftop patio!"

"We were disappointed as I was told the brunch was over at 2. We thought we could order off the menu. We had someone who is on a low protein diet and there was nothing other than lettuce salad and a couple fruits he could have . He chose not to eat at all. He got fries at McDonalds when we left. The desserts looked good, but we were coming to my house for dessert afterwards so that was of no interest to us. I felt very badly as I had made the reservations, guess I should have done more inquiring . We have eaten there before and the food was very good. We really aren't buffet people anyway so it was a big disappointment. I had ask in the reservation if there was low protein food."

"This continues to be one of our favorite restaurants. Even though it was extremely busy on Easter, the wait staff was attentive and so friendly. The food on the buffet was great and the trays always kept full. Even though we don't have small children, it was great to see how the restaurant made them feel special. The Easter Bunny walked around the whole time we were there and the "children at heart" in our group loved the food at the kid's buffet table. Thank you for a great Easter brunch!"

"We were a party of six with 7:00 reservations on a Saturday night. We did have to wait for our table, but it was understandable because the restaurant was packed. It gave me the impression that diners were not made to feel rushed, so I did not mind waiting the 15 minutes or so. It was our first time at Rudy's Redeye, and will not be our last."

"Food was fine and waitress did a nice job. But, they seated us by the pool, which had a handful of young and noisy kids in it. And, our table was literally outside of the kitchen access, which, on a busy Valentine's night, was opening and shutting the entire time we were there. Dim ... bright ... dim... bright. Repeat for 90 minutes. I rated noise as "energetic" only because there was not an option for "annoying.""

"We went to Rudy's for lunch on Valentine's Day. We had reservations. Our waitress was terrible. We were there for over 2.5 hours. She never apologized, just said "It's a busy day." It really wasn't even busy at all during the lunch hour. She didn't take our order for a long time, then she had to come back and ask us what we ordered, then when our meal finally arrived, I had the wrong side dish. Just one thing after another. I've always had a good experience here in the past. I really wasn't expecting this. I felt bad because my husband wanted to go to Ingredients and I talked him into coming here instead. I realize everyone has a bad day once in awhile, but this was a bit much!"

"We went for an early lunch on Valentine's Day. Although the restaurant was full, the tables are far enough apart that it doesn't feel crowded or noisy. Service at Rudy's is always very good. The menu is traditional rather than trendy, but the food is always quite tasty. This is a restaurant that attracts a wide range of clients and seems to satisfy all of them."

"We had a rough start. We had a reservation. Yes I know they were busy. The hostess "forgot" to write down our pager number she told us so after waiting 20 min I went up and asked and they seated shortly. Once we got to our table Dana made it a great evening. She was nice and friendly and our food came out faster than I expected for such a busy night so that was great!"
