Utsav Indian Restaurant & Lounge
One of 19 locations worldwide, Utsav is a 2-storey restaurant in the heart of Times Square. There is a cozy lounge on the lower level with outdoor seating available in the summer. The upstairs main dining room is beautiful and spacious overlooking an open air plaza through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The flooring is a warm cherry and the ceiling is adorned with silk drapes giving the restaurant a romantic ambience. The main dining room can accommodate upto 200 guests. There are booths along the windows overlooking 46th and 47th streets.

"I have been to Utsav many times and generally enjoy the food, which can be excellent, nuanced and interesting. Last time it was not.
The service is erratic, and this time was downright poor. They are friendly enough but the wait, particularly for drinks can be long. They are probably staffed adequately for weeknights but a larger weekend crowd appears to tax their capacity to deliver. Getting a waiter's attention was like trying to flag a taxicab in the rain.
The cocktail list is interesting, but again execution was not upto my expectation last weekend. Maybe their regular bartender was on vacation.
I will go back though, and hope to see them perform as they can"

"im not typically a fan of Indian but my sister is a fan and it was her birthday. this place was soooo good! the food was phenomenal and the cocktails were equivalently the same. try the lamb or if you want extra spicy try the shrimp to die for. the mango dessert was my fav as well as the mango martini and the tamarind cocktail. great location great ambiance."

"This was our first visit to this restaurant and we found it a delightful dining experience. It was a Sunday brunch buffet so it afforded us the opportunity to sample many new and different foods that we had never tried before. It was a wonderful way to sample what would have been entrees on their regular dinner menu. The food was very well prepared and offered a variety of different tastes and flavors. We would definitely return to this restaurant again. SErvice was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful."
