Sole Restaurant in Oceanside is the supreme Long Island dining experience. It is the perfect gathering place for friends, family, or clients - everyone who appreciates great food. Owned by Chef Robert "Bobby" Carmosino, every meal at Sole is prepared with the finest quality foods, cooked to perfection and served by the friendly, knowledgeable staff. The full and extensive menu, aside from the signature daily house specialties of three oven roasted fish, succulent duck, and baby pork osso bucco, is rich in antipasti, unique salads, seafood specialties, mouth-watering meats, and delicious desserts. "Very good food. Excellent service. The special menu was nice. Two people in our group had that and it came with an appetizer, main course and dessert. The rest of us ordered from the regular menu. We all enjoyed our meals."

"Sole is a sleeper. From the outside one never expect the level of quality of the food. It truly rivals some of Manhatten's fine restaurants. Unfortunately, the fact that it is very noisy and tight detracts a bit. Nevertheless for a special treat it is a thumb's up."

"Liked prior menu better. Pork Osso Bucco--whats that about? Better to leave it off the menu, than go cheap on ingredients. Prices seem to have increased, though that's to be expected. But more limited menu selection and specials not a good thing. We've been customers for many years, but go much less frequently than we did a while ago. Last visit reminds me why. Maybe we will try Lawson Pub"
