"This restaurant has great decor, food, and drinks! Our waitor was attentive and friendly. Osso's could be the "it" spot in town. First and most important, there was no host/hostess to greet us. We stood at the front door looking stupid until we were greeted by a waitor that happened to be walking by. Music, too loud for a Wednesday and it was house music....wheres the club??? Employees, there were a lot of them walking around but no one looked like they were actually doing anything. This place is awesome but you have to tighten up the ship. Its sad to say but the music, random employees walking around, lack of atmosphere are whats killing this beautiful spot. Thanks god for Osso's amazing food........"

"It was our first visit to Osso and we will definitely return. The food was excellent and the service warm and friendly without being intrusive. Halibut was super fresh and prepared perfectly. The calamari/shrimp/olive/sundried tomato appetizer was a real treat with fresh tendor calamari and shrimp. They accommodated my dessert request for fruit with fresh sweet strawberries, raspberries and blue berries - perfect. The decor reminds me of the east village with elegant chairs and tables and electic ceiling, wall and lighting - very fun."

"WE went to Osso following a show at the comedy zone. We had heard alot about the restaurant and wanted to try it and it was right nearby. We were somewhat disappointed because the dinner was small with very few chunks of seafood. The wine glass was skimpy. We probably wont go back!"

"The service was very slow and after ordering I had to ask the Waiter about my appetizer I ordered 20 minutes prior. He finally brought it out and he didn't put my dinner order in until that time (40 mins after I ordered) waiters were nice but not efficient."

"Food was good. Everyone at my table had the chicken marsala and really enjoyed it. The bibb salad was typical but comes lightly dressed, so you may want to ask for the dressing on the side. The dessert was ok. I had the brownie with pistachio ice cream that could have done withtout the huckleberry jam. The pineapple upside down martini was very good. The tables are very close so I did not enjoy hearing the party next to me graphic conversation."

"We went here because we had a gift card. The food was very good but the ambiance was strange. We did not care for the "club music" that was playing at 6PM on a Friday. Perhaps they should play something more neutral and switch to the club music later. We couldn't get our check fast enough because we were tired of listening to the music!
The food was good, but we will not be going back here. Also, the decor was very garish."

"We liked Osso better when we went for Queen's Feast - perhaps we just didn't order the right thing this time. I actually loved my dinner - their Osso Buco - strong recommendation for that. Also the meatballs are great and everyone seems to love them. However, the other three people in my party weren't thrilled with their meals. One friend got the tuna, which he said was very good, but it was TINY. Not enough food for the price. Our worst problem was the service, though - it took a VERY long time for the dinner to come out, and we ended up late to our next event. Overall we were a little disappointed, but I'd still go back for the osso, the meatballs and the ambiance, which I think is very cool."

"My husband and I eat out frequently and tried Osso the day after Valentines. We were looking forward to a romantic evening. Imagine our surprise when we were lead to a table that sat between two other couples having dinner(one on either side). The tables were so close together that we had to shimmy into our seats and ate our dinner practically touching elbows with total strangers. We all had to have a sense of humor about it and it made for good conversation between all of us. It was also their first time there. I had the osso bucco and it was excellent(moist and tender)though it came with 3 very tasty but thin ravioli. My husband had the veal and loved it! Dessert was excellent and so was the service."

"Reservations were at 9:30, didn't get sat until 10pm. Server took forever to take our order and didn't check back enough to see if we needed anything. First round of drinks took about 10 minutes to get to the table. The food is phemenonal, but the the service was terrible. If it wasn't for the food and atmosphere, I wouldn't come back. It was Valentine's Day and although I had been there before, my boyfriend hasn't been. A horrible first impression was given."

"We attended the jazz brunch on Sunday Feb 10, 2013. The staff was very attentive from the time we walked in and throughout our entire dining experience. The calamari/shrimp/scallop appetizer was a hit with our table. The cocktails were delicious (Georgia Peach was fab). Everyone enjoyed their entrees (steak & eggs; salad; seafood crepe) and remarked on how they would definitely come back. The ambiance is modern/rustic, which seems to be an extreme contrast but yet works remarkably well. The music started with a DJ who kept it nicely funky through his set and was followed by a talented duo of saxaphonist and keyboardist. For the live music I appreciated my table location just beyond the lounge area."

"it was so loud and had to wait for our table 20 minutes. when we ordered our dessert it took longer and no one came to let us know and then they figured out about the dessert and did offer to give us that for free and it still took a long time."

"Food is excellent, must try the scallops. If you like duck carpaccio, their arugula salad is wonderful even for a person who does not like goat cheese like myself. The dessert "Bunet" is just the right touch of sweetness because I do not have much of a sweet tooth. It is great especially if you want just something light and are a big fan of almond/amaretto flavors. It is a cross between a flan and a tiramisu without the coffee flavor and a little crunch from what seems to be like almond biscotti crumbles. Great place to eat especially if you are attending the comedy show at the venue next door."

"We were greeted & seated right away. Easy valet parking. Martinis & wine lists were great. Service was prompt & helpful. Calamari was the best I've ever had! Grouper was my favorite, but my dining companions lived the Osso, seafood pasta & risotto."

"The Osso Bucco was fabulous, tender and lovely flavor. We had wonderful server who was so friendly and helpful. We also had the meatballs as appetizer and had to bring some home since there were so many, it could have been a meal. We booked a reservation that same night to bring back our family for a special birthday dinner. Excellent!"

"I enjoyed the service and atmosphere but the appetizers were less than expected quality wise, entrees were tasty but it was still your usual Italian suspects, the osso bucco was misleading and not traditional at all( but still tasted good). The best part of the meal was dessert! I'd recommend it but know that you won't be blown away culinarily."

"Osso is definitely an up and coming, energetic experience. The menu was excellent, the service reliable and the ambience quite special. Charging $5 to valet park with a $20 alternative to keep the car out front implying a lack of safety is a poorly veiled ploy for making a few bucks. And there is really no viable parking alternative when the weather is anything but perfect."

"Love, love, love the interior design of this restaurant! Had a fantastic dinner! The service was amazing. We ordered the braised pork shank - outstanding! We also ordered the pasta dish. It was good, but I was a little disappointed. Though it was the perfect serving amount, the size of the shrimp, clams and lobster in the dish were very small. The Pistachio Semmifreddo we ordered for dessert, was out of this world! I can't wait to go back and order that again!!!!"

"The food was phenomenal, as was the service. The only drawback to the restaurant was that the seating was very cramped. I was bumped several times by waitstaff and patrons as they tried to maneuver through the tables. That being a minor quibble, the food was so good we will definitely be returning."

"Decor and noise were a bit too much for us. My dinner (Osso Buco) was very good but my wife's veal was very tough. Salads and soup were good.
Perhaps this is a good place for a young, hip crowd but not our cup of tea."
