"We had reservations at 6, they had plenty of tables open, but it appeared as though there were NO staff--on MOTHER'S DAY. The waiting area was filled with people, and no one to seat them. The hostess appeared to move in super slow motion, even when it got so crowded it was difficult to stand without bumping into someone. The 3 of us were shown to a table for 2. The service was interminably slow, so it was fortunate that the drinks were fabulous (although the fig martini didn't have two of the ingredients listed in the menu (fig liqueur and thyme). The food was passable but overpriced. We should have been clued in to the fact that, on Mother's Day, this place was only about 1/2 full. We definitely won't be going back."

"Excellent food and service. This restaurant also has a lovely wine selection. It is more of an upscale bistro type with a nice outdoor area as well. A very nice change from the over the top spots to the lower end bar scenes that usually have very average food. Napa is also great for special occasions and they have a great brunch. I've enjoyed it on several visits."

"I was curious if the restaurant simply had a name change or was different than Piatti, which I had not been to in years. It was very different and much better. We enjoyed every aspect of the evening, drinks, food and service. Our waiter was most willing to comply with our minor changes and we had a great evening."

"The food is as good as a local newspaper described it (March 2013). Go there for the food, but make no mistake about the "ambiance". There isn't any. The restaurant "area" is adjacent to the hotel bar, the lobby, and the door where the hotel guests and their kids must go back and forth from the hotel pool, and the hotel main The outside dining area is not reserved for the restaurant. The inside dining area is also open for all the guests and their kids to kick back as they likely would at a hotel coffee shop or snack bar. The servers tried their best, and the restaurant manager even came in to help them out. But, it's too bad this restaurant doesn't have it's own private area with some "atmosphere", so that their food can really shine"

"I have been to the Napa Tavern for Sunday brunch, which is excellent and a great value. So I took a corporate group there for dinner and the food was just as good. Rustic western atmosphere, superb service, and a great wine list. Close to the 101, so easy to get to."

"We've been here many times. Always good food and usually great service. Sunday Brunch is great value and daily lunch special (not on the menu) is Individual Pizza and salad for $8.95 (there is another option but I don't remember what it is.)"

"Napa was very good quality food. I sat at the bar and the bar service was good but not great. Also thought the cost was definitely on the expensive side compared to other restaurants of comparable quality in the area."

"I Love the Napa Tavern! The food is wonderful, the ambiance is warm, cozy, and I'd call it casual nice. The wine list is fantastic, and I love that Napa does wine tastings on Saturdays. It's a fun time! As a rule the service is excellent, however it fell a little short the day we went. It WAS busy, so I'm going to assume the waiter had a lot to see to."

"Went to Napa Tavern for Sunday brunch with family. They have a buffet, but we confused them by ordering off the menu. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not adequately staffed for the number of guests. We didn't have the attentive service we are used to at dinner. Food was okay, but not at the same standard as dinner, either. Biggest disappointment was the bacon--a $6 side (the usual applewood smoked), which was thin sliced, soggy, and obviously pre-cooked and stacked up for serving later. At these prices, I expect everything to be freshly prepared (off the menu, that is)."

"We went to the Napa Tavern for Sunday brunch and were very happy! The waitress was doing everything she could to make us happy the ENTIRE TIME. The brunch buffet was amazing. Great food and a giant dessert section with a chocolate fondue fountain. Very reasonably priced too."

"Great place with good food and good service. The only problem is that you can smell the kitchen too much and your clothes will smell by the time you leave. Great Napa wine list."

"Sunday Brunch is the only reason to come here. You have an option of ordering off a menu or choosing to do the buffet. The buffet is interesting; offering items from scrambled eggs to sushi to a chocolate fountain. The food is mediocre, BUT the deal of the day comes from the option of adding bottom-less mimosa OR champange. If you plan on having more than one AM cocktail then this is a great deal. The buffet is $19.99 which includes one drink! Then if you want bottomless champagne/mimosa it's an extra $5. For the area, it's a steal. Especially since their menu items for breakfast average at $15 and one mimosa cost 10 bucks. My girls group added this to our "go to" brunch spot, but be prepared to wait a few minutes for a refill :/"

"We love this restaurant. We went on Valentine's day and that was probably not a good idea because they overbooked and people tended to linger so we had a bit of a wait. But the staff was very cordial and professional and made the evening memorable."

"Food: The pear-brie appetizer was overcooked, leaving the pastry burned and the cheese rubbery. The butternut squash ravioli was a bit under-done, which made it tough. The filet and lobster were cooked correctly, but nothing special. Service: The waiter was friendly and helpful, but missed a few things that would have made for excellent service. Shared dishes, such as the appetizer and desert, should be accompanied by small plates (the brie pastry created a mess on the table). The flight of 3 paired wines for the pre-fixe were brought at once without an explanation. The gratuity was built into the price, which always causes me to pay the amount prescribed rather than my 20%. Too many local high-end restaurants in Westlake."

"I attended a Sunday brunch and saw the potential of the food, but unfortunately didn't deliver on taste. A good portion of the dishes were cold at 10:30 am (buffet started at 10:00am) or overcooked. The desserts tasted like they were from the local supermarket, with cupcakes and cake that were over-frosted and crumbled apart. Will not be returning after giving the place 3 shots."

"The restaurant ambience was nice and the bar was enjoyable. My husband and I sat at a very nice table where he was able to watch the goings on in the kitchen. As we were perusing the menu we found the prices to a bit high; however, we were excited thinking that meant we were going to have a very interesting and unusual dinner experience. To start, we ordered the cheese plate and two glasses of delicious white wine. The cheese plate had plenty of variety, but lacked depth and quality. In addition, there was too much cheese. It would've been better to have a small amount of more interesting cheeses along with complimentary condiments (honey, jam, etc). On to our main course...a shrimp special for me and a the filet medallions for my h"

"Our server (Meagan ) was very good. The food flavors were good but the quality of the meats were poor, you could tell they were of lesser quality. All tough... That's not the fault of server or chef , it is the buyers issue. The general manager was visible but never smiled never spoke to a customer, very poor customer relations. In order to survive in our neighborhood they will need to step up food quality or people will come once and not return."
