In historic Winter Garden, just a few miles from Orlando’s theme parks, an intimate gourmet dining experience awaits you. Local residents rave about it and foodies come from all over the world to sample the superb cuisine and intimate service of The Chef's Table at the Edgewater. Our 3 Course Pre Fixe Dinner is priced at 55 dollars per person, and generally consists of 4 choices per course.
One of our chefs will visit your table and answer any questions you may have about the menu of the evening. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy our food and wines in our cozy dining room.

"Our first time here and it was amazing. The service was impeccable, food was delicious, and the small intimate setting was perfect for any special occasion. We had the filet and pork chop, both were amazing. Paired with the perfect winse and the bread pudding was out of this world. The chef came over and the personal attention and time spent with each guest was a nice touch, elegant all around. We can't wait to go back."

"What a great evening! Getting back to the restaurant dining room presents a bit of a challenge. Only because the Tasting Room was very busy on this Saturday night. The menu had something for all tastes. Chef Kevin came by the table to say Hello. Our server, Erica was great and well as the server assistant. Attentive service but not invasive. Perfect. Thank you for a great experience."

"My wife and I celebrated out Anniversary dinner the Chef's Table and everything was outstanding, especially the food. Our only complaint was we thought that the entire experience could have been slowed down a bit. We started with a cocktail and cheese platter. Before we finished those out first course arrived. "We were welcomed at the restaurant with open arms - a bit surprised that we could not enter when we came a bit early. Good happy hour prices on the drinks before hand. The serving staff could not have been more welcoming. We had three entrees - wahoo (2), duck, and pork chop. One of our party felt like the wahoo was too salty for her taste but the rest of the meals were very good. Deserts were suberb as was the visit from the Chef. The ambiance was unique and I would go back even though it is a bit pricy for my taste."

"Fine dinning should be an experience and Chef's Table in Winter Garden is one you shouldn't miss. I would rate this as one of the best restaurants in Central Florida and in my top 10 in the state. It had an adequate wine list and the food was delicious and ample. I had the duck which was skillfully prepared and my wife had the Bass which was cooked to perfection. The mushroom crepe torte is worth the trip on its own. While my wife loves refrigerated salads I prefer salads that are made immediately prior to serving which I saw as the only drawback to an otherwise great meal. We will definitely dine here again."

"Pricy for the quality level of food one actually receives. Friendly, quiet, remote "rear portion" of a pub. Somewhat pretentious... but they feel they're offering "a fine dining experience," so that is ok. They have a "no hats policy" for diners (presumably for men only). If you're not a Floridian, brings lots of quarters along for the annoying tolls at which you must "throw coins into a netted-funnel as you pass... or, you're liable to be summoned by the Transit Authority, etc. Still, they were serving at 10:00pm on a Sunday night, and that's a big plus."

"Maybe I am crazy, jaded, or have impossible standards, but I thought this restaurant and experiece was good, but not great. Quite a few of us had the same time reserved, so there was a crowd at the door with no host when we walked in. After a few minutes, someone came to us and ushered us in. We were walked through an old dining area including a server station that was unimpressive. We were seated in an average little room in a corner. Service was attentive, prompt and friendly. Since I am limited by space here, I will just say the menu items were good, but not mind blowing! Large portions, cooked well. Desserts were just ok. You could find a cheaper, nicer meal elsewhere in Orlando."

"Great food, and Kevin, the chef/owner, always is friendly and a delight. We ate at the chef's table and had the wine pairing with our 3-course meal. We were not disappointed in any way. The is one of the best deals in the Orlando area -- terrific value for the price."

"The food was very good, the service excellent, the atmosphere warm and inviting. Our party arrived late because late afternoon traffic made our early seating harder to get to than we had imagined and we were a little nervous about it. We were greeted with warmth and courtesy and made to feel welcome - a good beginning to a pleasant dinner with friends."

"The Chef's Table is a unique and fun dining experience, especially for couples. The food is excellent and the service attentive. Our waiter's enthusiasm for describing the daily menu's ingredients proved impressive and genuine. My only minor criticism: the menu has limited options for those seeking healthy food selections. But, if you want to cut loose, and enjoy excellent fine dining in Central Florida, you will be happy with this Winter Garden classic."

"Sometimes there is a thin line between old and charm..... Found the dinning room and general atmosphere to be a bit confining. Just could not get comfortable in the dark, main dinning room.
The food was well prepared, fresh, but a bit salty. The flow was good, and our server was knowledgable and pleasant. Overall a good experience, but quite expensive, dinner for two with a bottle of wine with tip , over $200.00. Wine list was different, not overwhelming......"

"How wonderful it is that this restaurant is so successful! Its unlikely location simply adds to the charm, and romance. Being ushered back into the chef's space is almost like a speakeasy experience, where you are a special guest. And the Tasting Room in front is a vibrant place for drinks and delicious small plates, either before or after Chef's spectacular dinner. Favorites are the mushroom tort and the filet, which is the most tender steak in town. Great prices for the quality, too."

Quality of food in incredible...three courses, fresh/local ingrediants, expertly prepared, good portions.Creative and in all ways exceptional.
