Located on Covert Avenue on the border of Floral Park and Stewart Manor, Park Place Restaurant & Bar has quickly emerged as one of Long Island's top restaurants. Open seven days a week Park Place appeals to everyone --- couples out for a date night, families celebrating any occasion or friends meeting up for a drink after work. The modern decor, innovative cuisine and welcoming staff has many in the community singing its praises.
Veteran restaurant owners Carlo & Sergio DeCiantis, along with new comers Matthew Tesoriero and Patrick O'Halloran have teamed up with chef Anthony Martarana to produce a menu that puts a new spin on old favorites. Favorites include Tuna Tacos Tar-Tar, Spinach & Artichoke Wontons, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Steak Frites and for dessert ... Funnel Oreo's (Oreos dipped in funnel cake batter and deep fried).
The semi-private party room provides a perfect location for baby showers, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, funeral luncheons.
"Waited over 30 min to sit even though I had reservations. And then when we sat, it took over 10 min just to have the waitress come to our table to order drinks. The menu is fairly small, and they were out of three entrees, and the wine we chose. It just seemed like anything we wanted they didn't have. The food we did end up choosing was good, so maybe it was just an overly busy night. I'd possibly try this place again"

"I think I have found my new favorite restaurant. I made a reservation on open tabe and we were seated immediately. The food was just beyond delicious. I had the salmon which was just perfectly cooked and my husband raved about the steak. They had several nice choices for our 7 year old. Often a restaurant like this would only have a couple of choices for the little ones. Service was excellent and the waitress was very pleasant. Delicious food, great decor and friendly staff. Loved it and would highly recommend it."

"Good friends gathered for Park Place's prix fix lunch offering. The menu offered salads and soup, pasta, salmon, chicken dishes as well as ice cream and funnel cake. How could we go wrong. Excellent hot bread with super friendly service...we will be back."

"Everything was just great except the loud music. Many times when the only customers are older loud music is disturbing. I must say when we requested the music be lowered it was done immediately."

"As usual the food was terrific and it was a very nice place to spend Valentines Day with my girlfriend. When we arrived for our 8:30pm reservation our table was not ready and so we got a drink at the bar. Surprisingly two mixed drinks (a Cosmo and a Hendricks G&T) cost only $14. After being seated (in somewhat tight quarters - which is to be expected as the restaurant is not large) we ordered and service was, quick. A little too quick for my taste, however it was Valentines Day and I assume that their reservation book was full and they were trying to maximize the number of guests they could serve. Giving my girlfriend a rose at the end of the evening was a nice touch."

"Maybe the best restaurant in all of Queens. The lobster Mac is some of the best I have ever had and the ahi tacos are to die for. Love returning to see Chef Anthony and his creations."

"Waitress was welcoming and friendly. Warmed bread w. butter great opener. Lentil soup was served at the right temperature and wonderfully seasoned. Seafood with risotto was exquisite. You know it is a savory flavor when you have to take a slice of bread and "dunk" into the last amount of sauce. Pasta special with peas and bacon ... yummy!"
