"I was impressed with the menu and service. The food came out piping hot and fresh and was prepared in an original way. The sauces were not overbearing but added the perfect complement to the dishes. Pricey, but worth every penny."

"Delicious meal. Excellent chicken Marsala and risotto with asparagus . My husband's filet with crabmeat was done to perfection, and the veal saltambucco was declared the best ever tasted by two guests. Service was very efficient, friendly but not hovering. A great restaurant right in the neighborhood. I'll use this for special occasions."

"My husband and I have dined her while it was still the small 8-10 table restaurant. We now dine there with the expansion which was a nice addition to the restaurant. Recently, we had a baby. We came to Macaroni's for my birthday dinner and was surprised to find out that the good spot we like is NOT kid friendly. They do not have any highchair or booster seats available. Also when we walked in with our daughter, we were made to wait at the hostess stand while she went into the back to talk to someone. This is very disappointing as we really like the food and atmosphere but we also do not have anyone close by that can watch our daughter so she needs to come along with us. She was quiet the entire time,no one knew she was there."

"We were pretty excited to try this restaurant and were impressed by the decor as we entered. However, we were greeted by a mean and cold hostess. We thought it might have been downhill from there, but thankfully, the food was delicious, and the actual service was great. It's a shame that we almost left based on the awful hostess."

"I wish I had known that I wouldn't receive any dining points for this reservation...I would have booked elsewhere. For the amount of money we spent, we should have gotten double! The lobster ravioli was merely OK, but my partner's steak was outstanding and the cannoli are highly recommended for dessert. Cocktails were good, Chef's Antipasto was one of the best meat/olives/cheese trays we've ever had. Expensive for the area, but nice."

"caesers sald was bland, never offerer perpper or cheese as you would expect in fine dining, bread was hard, chicken parm was huge but bland, augratin potatoes were waery and sent back. best of dinner was dissert which they treated us to because of the other food. i think they need to match their cooking with their ombiance,"

"I have not been here in years. The place is even nicer than before inside. And the food was just as excellent as I had remembered! Everything we ordered was delicious (Mozzarella e Carrozza, Lobster Raviolim, Pappardelle & Porcini, Veal Primo) and they even brought out complimentary cake because I mentioned it was my brother's birthday when I made the reservation :-)"

"I have been to Macaroni's several times on business. It is tucked away in such a way that the first time I went, I drove past it 3 times.
This is the first visit with my wife. We both had items on the chef's special menu. I had an 8oz Filet with a basil cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes and lump crab. It was served with garlic mashed. The filet was perfectly cooked to my desired temperature. The garlic mashed were incredible. My wife had a pan-seared bluenose bass served with a chardonnay sauce, and fingerling potatoes. She thought the fish was a little dry, but after tasting it myself, thought it was just fine.
They have great ambiance, and consistently great food. An incredible find in the restaurant wasteland that is NE Philly."
