"This is an amazing restaurant where the owners have clearly invested their hearts, souls, and money. Everything about it is excellent. The ambiance is warm and elegant, the food was PERFECT, and the service was attentive but not overbearing. Management is present and ensures that each patron is treated like royalty. And not sure how they snagged the bartender/wine expert from Petite Louis, but it's quite a coup. Bravo on creating a memorable dining experience for Charm City!"

"This is our fourth visit to Fleet Street and it never fails to be outstanding!!! Great food, great service and an overall wonderful experience. We were so happy that they had Father's Day brunch and we were able to celebrate at our now favorite restaurant.
The presentations were gorgeous and the food and portions were perfect. Can't wait for our next visit.

"We decided to give Fleet Street one more try. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff pleasant enough (although a but snobby) and we got reservations right away... a bad sign. No one in our party could find anything that sounded appealing enough to shell out about $150 bucks so we actually got up and left! There are plenty of other find dining establishments in Baltimore to choose from then waste our time and money at this one. The menu is horrible and I would never go back."

"While I generally don't care which Maryland county the baby zucchini came from, the different rocks served in different drinks fascinated me. The crushed ice in mine was so clear and cold - it chilled my drink perfectly, but didn't really melt so my drink wasn't diluted. How did they do that? It signifies a level of attention to detail that was impressive. My entree(roast chicken - my acid test for any new restaurant) was delicious, although a companion said that the soft shelled crab was overly breaded. The carrot not quite cheesecake was a strange concoction of textures and flavors, perhaps a step too far in the novelty direction. Service was just right, attentive but never intrusive. And we could actually converse without screaming."

"Went to FSK for my wife's birthday, also the same night as a big concert at Pier 6. Probably why our experience was "rocky". Pros: food was delicious. Appetizer of soft shell crab was the biggest and meatiest I've ever seen and the charcuterie plate was very tasty. Our entrees were excellent: very nicely prepared and presented halibut and leg of lamb; both delicious. Cons: 1) The bar was packed when we arrived which meant the noise was not "energetic" it was _loud_. 2) We ordered drinks first, then appetizers but the drinks arrived after the appetizers. 3) The leg of lamb first came out as rockfish. After that was corrected, our server wasn't even aware there had been a mix up. An uneven night, but we'd give it another chance."

"We really like this restaurant, however, Wednesday night, both of our meals were over salted. My husband got the Buttered Lobster for an appetizer - small, but good. I got the onion soup. Very tasty, but too salty. For entrees, my husband got the veal tenderloin, and I got the mushroom stew. Both flavorful, yet again, too salty. The cocktails are always fun to try, and never disappoint. A nice touch, the chef sent out a little amuse to each diner before the meal (cold pea soup with a wonderful touch of mint!).
Oh, and the bar scene was very lively. I think they offer a great Happy Hour with complimentary hors d'oeuvres!

"First, I was impressed that our special request for seating was honored. Second, and more important, the meal was fabulous! I had the arctic char (out of this world). The portion were appropriately small, the wine was wonderful, service was spectacular, and I have a new favorite restaurant. Thank you!"

"Great venue, swanky decor/lighting. Had high expectations. We were sat in a cramped table. I asked to move & hostess acted perturbed. We did move & open 2 tops never filled. Our server was cordial but had no recommendations: "everything was great". I need more lead at a new restaurant. Spring Onion Soup was phenomenal as was the Egg Yolk Ravioli - yet at $13, I wanted more than 2. Entrees craftily prepared. Lamb was gorgeous & perfectly cooked though mild. F.S. Kitchen's commitment to sustainable farming suggested that the veal was tenderly cared for: so I ordered it. Tender, almost, but all I could taste was salt; I missed subtle flavors. Expensive, clean, good looking: still a bit young. We had a great time overall and will return."

"If we had just ordered entrees, nothing else, the food rating would have been excellent. The restaurant is beautiful, and the service very good. we loved our entrees: two had the mushroom stew, I had the leg of lamb and my friend had the grouper. The appetizers were not so great, the only one we could recommend of the four we tried was the scallops. and the dessert was just fair - the one scoop of ice cream was delicious, but the carrot/cheesecake was not the best. Also, the cappuccino was too strong and the espresso just ok."

"I had a wonderful first experience here. I had very little time before I had to make a movie while eating solo, and they made sure I was finished with time to spare. Also, when a friend unexpectedly showed up, they let me move to the bar to eat with them without any issues. The food, wine, and service were all exemplary."

"We chose Fleet Street Kitchen for our anniversary dinner. When one of the restaurant staff called to confirm our reservation, she asked whether we were celebrating an occasion, and I told her that we were celebrating our anniversary. Imagine our surprise to find a handwritten card on the table when we arrived. Every staff person who greeted us knew it was our anniversary and made sure to acknowledge it. We were also treated to complimentary sparkling wine. All of this before we even ordered.
The experience continued to impress. The service was impeccable, with staff quietly watching from all angles and making sure that diners had full water glasses and cleared tables at all times. The food was divine and well worth the price.

"The location on the outside is deceiving... doesn't look like much but on the inside it is such a delightful gem! The decor is fantastic. Rustic glam I would call it. The service was outstanding. Bar was nice to hit up before dinner. Dining room was very grand yet intimate/cozy/romantic. Food was really delicious. We had beet salad and lobster to start with and pork and halibut for dinner. All were outstanding. Very pleased and will certainly go again!!"

"Went with a friend on a Thurs night and was seated in an area where it looked empty the entire time. However my dishes kept coming out before I was done with my previous course! This was not a place I expected to be rushed. And my chicken entree was just ok, I didn't feel any need to finish it & my friend thought her soft shell crab was decent but not that exciting.
both of desserts were excellent at least!

"This restaurant appears to have some potential as you walk in, but unfortunately it is very expensive, and the food varied from average to awful. The chicken dish my wife ordered was so salty that it was almost inedible. The pork loin I had was ok, but very small with a complement of maybe 10 peas. The only thing above average was the service. Overall, I left still hungry, disappointed, and with my wallet a whole lot lighter."

"Menu was limited but I haven't been to too many farm to table restaurants. Everything I ordered was delicious. Someone at my table ordered the chicken because nothing else really appealed to him, however the waiter informed us the chef was not happy with the brine and suggested trying another entree. Wine by the glass selections were limited. We finished our meal around 8:45 and the place was not crowded. Plenty of tables available. Service was average, waiter was not exceptional by any means. Again, food was really excellent."

"Food was unfortunately too salty. We ordered the chicken as well as the mushroom stew. The flavor of the dishes were good except that they were extremely salty. We each had to drink 4-5 glasses of water and eat 4 pieces of bread to eat with our meals and we still couldn't finish the food. It was unfortunate that we spent $100 on a meal we couldn't finish because we were feeling thirsty the entire time. I'm surprised that someone on the kitchen staff didn't taste the food or perhaps they did and they thought that the food was perfectly fine. I've never complained about food to any restaurant - let alone write a negative review about the food, so the fact that I'm writing this means it was really terrible."

"My husband and I dined at FSK after reading some great Trip Advisor reviews! We started with cocktails in copper mugs- rum and house made ginger beer; delicious and visually interesting. To start we had the scallop app- cooked perfectly and crispy pork belly- sauce was amazing. For dinner we had the aged ribeye and the veal. Again we were impressed. This is a great restaurant for foodies- dishes are delicious and not over thought. The freshness of each dish shines even through the excellent sauces.
We would definitely return and look forward to trying desert and coffe next time!

"Pea soup and baby lettuce salads were outstanding. As were the veal loin and rockfish entrees. Dessert was also masterful. We were disappointed in the Soter pinot noir, but that's on us. Service - VERY spotty. Generally couldn't get attention on a timely basis throughout the meal. Also disappointing to be crammed into a close banquette table set up when there were options in the back of the restaurant that weren't offered. Discovered this upon a trip to the ladies room after being seated."

"My husband planned a Mother's Day getaway to Baltimore with our 2 year old. Based on ratings we chose Fleet Street Kitchen for their Mother's day brunch. Food was FANTASTIC, our server Raquel was kind, patience, thoughtful and friendly. Our only unpleasant experience was when we first arrived and I asked the hostess for a highchair, she gave me a snide look and said that she didn't think one would be available, because "we don't get many kids here", when she returned and said no chair was available, I was very put off and we were going to leave, BUT our server came to the rescue and found us a highchair. We were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful food and my son loved their sausage!"

"Food (brunch) was wonderful; decor delightful; service was personable and friendly; however, we could have used another glass of wine with our meal (sat with empty glasses in front of us for a bit longer than acceptable). Other than that, which we consider a minor point, it was a pleasure. Can't wait to go back."

"Valet Parking in the pouring rain was definitely a positive start to out Fleet Street Kitchen encounter. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering. The ambience was nice, casual but elegant. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, although portions were a bit on the small side. The only true negative I found was cost...the pricing was roughly 20% higher than comparable restaurants in the area. Overall it was an enjoyable meal and I would be sure to go again as long as I have worked it into my monthly budget."

"Unfortunately, you walk into a place like this and have high hopes. First, our table was not ready at the time of our reservation. It took the hostess 2 more times to come over tell us our table was not ready finally about 10/15 minutes past our reservation we got a table. The waiter was attentive immediately and then disappeared for a good 10 minutes and did not bring what we had asked for. After ordering appetizers/wine, he assumed we did not want an entree. After we received the apps (charcuterie and cheese plates, which were delicious) we ASKED to order our entree which was tiny for the high costs they were. The Rib-Eye was TINY and not acceptable and barely saw our waiter the rest of the evening. We will not be going back here ever."

"This was our second time at Fleet Street. It was the second day of the spring menu. The beet salad was outstanding in both appearance and taste. The Brussels sprout salad was excellent as well. there were 3 of us and we each had a different fish, halibut, red snapper and black grouper. Each preparation was different and still very delicious. Dessert is for chocolate lovers and we all were very happy with the chocolate choices. the server was new and although very solicitous, needed more training in the menu. The new spring cocktails were good but i missed the bourbon killer cocktail and it could not be recreated."

"Service was fair. 1.) no bread was brought to the table during our meal(Did not know bread was served until an advertisement was brought to the table to purchase bread at the end of the meal); 2.) Was unable to order wine for dinner until the main course was stilling on the table (very disappointing after telling the waiter I wanted to order a bottle of wine for the main course) However, Phillip was outstanding in suggesting a wine that could be served quickly and was very good; 3:) entries were room temperature when served.
My companions and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of all the staff (including the chefs).
The food was interesting. However the scallop apertizer was too meager and too salty."

"While the service was outstanding, I wasn't equally impressed by the food. The presentation of the food was quite beautiful but lacked taste. I was disappointed by the food, but the service and ambiance was great! I think I enjoyed my dinner at the sister restaurant Ten Ten, much better."

"The staff is gracious, professional and knowledgeable. The food is pretty, darn wonderful. Highly recommend indulging in the short-rib. Make it your once-a-year (or more often!)meat extravaganza because it is perfection. Others had recommended the Chicken Liver Parfait. It is everything that was promised. Totally rich, buttery, nutty and delicious. I think the name of the dish is a confusing misnomer. It is served on a platter, not in a parfait glass. The green pea spring soup is delicious. Don't miss it. I was with a party of six and no one was disappointed. The celeraic side dish should receive a prize. The wine list is excellent. Baltimore is very lucky to have this new option for dining. It is a foodie paradise."

"Skimpy wine pour, skimpy main course. The food is very good, the restaurant, attractive, but my group felt cheated by the much less than generous portion size. And, we are not particularly big eaters. Why our waiter took away our bread after we finished our appetizers, I don't know. Was it being served to another table? Very odd.
We have been to Fleet Street several times and saw it as becoming a favorite. However, we won't be running back or recommending it to friends and colleagues.

"$5 valet. Friendly hostess seated us promptly. Service was excellent. Appetizers- Lobster delicious, as was the Pork Belly.
Dinner- Short Ribs were great, however, Sea Bass was a little on the soupy side. It seems all bottles of wine are decanted at the table- nice touch.
We will definitely return.
