Land Ocean specializes in great steaks, fresh seafood, and wood fired rotisserie chicken. The menu features a wide variety, from great burgers and salads, to a legendary french dip sandwich. We feature 4 fresh fish daily and a wonderful selection of steaks. Prices range from $10.95 to $29.95. A beautiful, intimate setting with a vibrant bar scene featuring hand crafted cocktails and a premium wine list. Land Ocean or "LO" , also serves a Weekend Brunch from 10am-2pm on Sat and Sun and Happy Hour from 3-7pm, Mon-Fri in the bar.

"There were four in our Mother's Fay group. We were promptly seated when we arrived in a comfortable booth. Our waitress was prompt and friendly, our orders correct and well prepared. The waitress was nearby for any refills of our "bottomless Mimosa's", or other requests, but not intrusive. The Cedar Salmon drizzled with a lemon-honey-ginger light sauce was GREAT! Our new favorite restaurant in Folsom, CA."

"We usually come here for a sandwich and salad so I can't comment on the entrees overall, but the French dip is very good. Wine list has some good selections for $29. The service is friendly and efficient. I wish they had more dessert selections. We prefer to sit at a booth in the bar as the upper dining area can be cold and some tables have very bright lighting."

"We were so excited upon arrival! First timers, we were drawn in by the outside look of the building. Celebrating our 45 anniversary was made so special at LO. We were familiar with a couple of the wait staff from another restaurant, so we were well taken care of. A suggestion of clam chowder was made. Oh to die for! Delicious beyond review! My husband chose the Spiced Steak, which was more than wonderful. My choice of the Tiger Prawns was outstanding! Beautiful HUGE meaty Prawns standing like soldiers in a circle with delicious coconut sauce surrounding their space. Amazing!

"I brought two friends here who had not been to Land/Ocean before, and they loved the food. The restaurant offers well-prepared fish--we had salmon and a fish-and-chips that satisfied our expert--and various beef, chicken, and lamb dishes that are delicious. They've done a very nice job of converting what was once a chain restaurant to a chic, modern eatery. I'm sure we'll be back."

"Our third visit to Land Ocean. The food was very good but the service was a little disjointed. I had the surf and turf which was tasty although I wish there had been an alterntive to the syrupy sweet coconut dipping sauce for the prawns.
We had to ask for the additional table settings to be cleared and also for water. Other patrons were served with bread. We were not.
Prices are not listed for cocktails. I would have ordered wine if I had known the price of the pricey gin martini.
All in all a good experience although management might wish to spend a little extra time working with the wait and bus staff."

"What can I say, Land Ocean is one of my favorite restaurants! I had the Spicy Bistro Steak with smashed potatoes on Sunday and it was outstanding, (and so were the leftovers) my husband had the steak and pasta dish and loved the sauce. Their Molten Lava cake is also very yummy. Thank you for making Easter dinner a breeze as well as yummy, we look forward to dining there again, soon!"

"We were seated and told our waitress would be right out. After ten minutes we flagged down another waiter asked him to send our waitress out - we wanted to order some drinks. He returned and told us she hadn't come in to work yet! Incredible! We then gave him our order. I ordered the salmon. It was pretty good but the amount of vegetables provided on the plate were closer to a garnish than a side dish. With this level of inattention to both service and food, I can't say I recommend the restaurant."

"Interesting that our server Carlos remembered us from last November. He was not as busy and not as attentive this time. The food once again was outstanding. Smaller portions are good for us. My wife had the Sea Bass and coconut rice again. I had the special Grilled fish (the name escapes me)from Hawaii. We had the banana cream pie again. Delicious! We will return."

"Came here for lunch, and was hoping for an outside table. Sunny day but a bit too cold without patio heaters, so we settled inside. Food and service were very good, but the atmosphere is so dark and dismal for lunch service. I'm sure at dinner it works, but it might be nice to bring up the lights or add fresh flowers to the tables to brighten it up. Otherwise, an overall good experience."

"We always enjoy this restaurant. Simply a very good experience all the way around. I especially appreciate their willingness to be accomodating when a family emergency compelled us to delay our reservation on short notice. It all worked out well in the end."

"This was our first visit to Land Ocean and it was fantastic. Our waiter was very energetic and knowledgeable. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. We had the filet mignon and the sea bass - both are specialties according to the waiter. Fish and filet were cooked perfectly. Smashed potatoes are great - they could have been warmer though.
Wines were very reasonably priced. The cost is up there, but that is what you pay for quality.
I would highly recommend this restaurant."
