"I went with a group of 5 and once i entered the restaurant the staff were very accommodating. I had booked reservations indoors but they quickly agreed to set us up in the patio. I adore their patio. It's kind of a hidden spot. Not too much of a view, but to have it in the middle of the city was great. Awesome atmosphere. My friends and i highly enjoyed our meal and dessert! Lastly, it did start to sprinkle during our stay, but again, the staff were very accommodating. Great experience, so check it out and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did."

"We picked this restaurant because of the close proximity to our hotel and the menu items sounded delicious. Although the food was tasty it was nothing special. We were so disappointed by our choice to eat there. The restaurant was very nice inside and the staff were very friendly. Next time we will wait till we're actually downtown and pick based on Concierge recommendations. They always have the best picks!!"

"Made early (5:45pm) reservations. We were taken to a table right away. Wait staff was very attentive and quick thruought our meal, probably because the evening dining crowd was not yet in full-swing. We had the 10 oz prime rib with sweet potato fries and the 7 oz tenderloin with roasted potatoes. As mentioned by other reviewers, it took some time to get to us but was well worth the wait. Meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Portion size was just right (we had no appitizers or dessert) to feel full but not overly bloated for an after dinner stroll to the waterfront. Would definitely recommend Hush for anyone able to take time to wait a little bit for a really good meal at a very reasonable price."

"You would think a restaurant on the theatre strip would be better-suited to providing fast, friendly service on a friday night before a show. We arrived 90mins before Book of Mormon was due to start and still had to rush through dinner to make it to the show in time. The restaurant was only half full so we can only assume it was poor management that led to this. Food didn't arrive until 735 and when we were told that a prime rib couldn't be done medium rare, the only offer was a different steak with no guarantee that it would arrive on time. We were told they would 'do their best.' The steak was then rushed and arrived 10mins before the other meals. Food was ok but the service leaves a lot to be desired."

"Nice addition to Entertainment Strip. With a caveat. If you aren't in hurry, this is a great place.
Ambiance was nice but music was loud enough to just be annoying with a thumping beat. Had to request a table change because booth was not meant for four people to be comfortable, that seemed to be a problem even though it was not busy. Waitress arrived INSTANTLY and was asked to come back in a few minutes but did not. Blush Sangria was delicious, Food was quite good, portions were a good size. Special mention to the seasonal veggies and roast potatoes - YUM! No time for dessert as our meal had taken so long. Once again, waitress was missing even though there seemed to be a ton of staff around and it took nearly 20 minutes to get our bill"

"Hush worked well for a pre theatre dinner at the Princess of Wales. Very varied menu - lots to choose from and well priced. Our server, Richard, was an Irish gem - excellent service, charming, perfect balance of friendliness without being intrusive. We will go back."

"Waitress was good but didn't know the menu, could only tell me that " a lot of people order this or that" took a long time for first glass of wine to arrive. Forgot part of our order. The expediter was great, on point, pulled up slack of our waitress. Soup was cold but delicious, really tasty. Fish and chips were amazing. My goat cheese and poached pear salad was ok. The U shaped booth we sat had table legs that didn't take into account people have feet. Not comfortable. All in all a good experience with so-so food, but it was before a show and we were happy to find a place. With a few tweaks my soup and salad would have been great."

"The food was excellent but the service poor. The waitress did not smile once and moved at a snail's pace. The waitstaff is a huge part of a dining experience and Hush could use some new waiters and waitresses."

"Several colleagues and I visited Hush for lunch last Friday. It was pretty much empty until we arrived but that's understandable since it was a little past normal lunch hours, plus it was the Friday of a long weekend. The food was pretty good, although there were some people that weren't satisfied. The problem was that there was only one server and by the looks of it one cook, which is why the food took longer than normal. My steak was a very good cut; low amount of fat, tender, and juicy. I ordered medium-rare but got medium, however it was still very good. We passed on the roof-top patio because it was a little chilly but will definitely be returning on warmer days for some drinks.
I give Hush Restaurant a 4 out of 5 in my books."

"We were a group of four with meat eaters and vegetarians. Good selection for both. We were celebrating an anniversary and the restaurant provided a lovely desert for the table. It is also wheelchair accessible which is very nice. We will b back. Dinner for four with wine, three appetizers four mains and three coffees was 200.00. Quite reasonable."

"I made a reservation for the patio but when we arrived the waitress told us there was no table left at the patio so we sat inside. Two minutes later she walked is to the patio where se had made room for us."

"Nice menu variety. Meals were well presented and proportional in size. Meats were cooked as requested while service was prompt and polite. Atmosphere was enjoyable and would feel comfortable dressed casually or upscale. Prices were competitive with upscale chain restaurants but with better quality ingredients."

"The food is very good but the service in getting is a real problem and what is disappointing is that they don't acknowledge it or try to make amends. We arrived at 6 - had a drink, ordered our meals about 6:40 and at 7:15 still did not have our food. The waitress did not acknowledge us, speak to or us, until we asked about our food. We had to rush to finish our meal before the theatre. They said "yes it is slow". Very frustrating"

"I went to Hush for a pre-theatre dinner. I had the lobster grill cheese sandwich which was delicious. The next day I was still talking about the meal with my husband! The staff were attentive, but not overly so. We did not wait long for the food and it was reasonably priced. I would definitely go back and possibly check out their rooftop patio which I did not get a chance to see."

"We had a wonderful dinner before seeing the Book of Mormon. Our waitress was wonderful, very engaging. Water glasses always filled. It was a great meal. Mix of appetizers and salads - lobster tacos, vegetarian spring rolls, Thai Crunch salad (my personal favourite) and make your own s'mores at the table for dessert. Very clever and super yummy. Many other wonderful menu items. a favourite is the lobster grilled cheese!"

"This is my go to spot pre- theatre. It is gem in an otherwise tourist trap. Food is solid, desserts are borderline divine in their simplicity. Highly reccomend the lobster tacos and lobster grilled cheese. And their sweet potatoe fries are perfect. Smores rock, the skillet cookie near blew my mind."

"Not a single complaint. Food, service, pricing and efficiency were all better than average. We were running late and it was no issue to slide the reservation and they had us out in plenty of time to catch our show. Staff was pleasant and attentive without being annoying. We'll be back."

"very stilish inside, great patio, food is hit and miss though. Great seafood dip, pasta, the salmon was tasty, but small portion (very hungry afterwards), the Thai Crunch salad was nice, but the chicken included was dry and overcooked. Dessert menu not much to speak of, but the chocolate caramel souffle was delicious."

"Delicious food (the mung Thai nachos were delicious!!!) for a moderate price. Our server was excellent. My only complaint is that it was much too dark at the table we were sitting at! There were other areas of the restaurant that looked brighter... But our partial booth in the corner was barely lit."

"Very dark and management staff hovered together making the ambiance seem stressed. In the kitchen, staff observed throwing stuff at each other. Fun is one thing but in the kitchen they need to be professional."

"I had a great dinner at Hush, on King Street. We had an amazing service, and it was very fast. The manager was very nice and spoke French (I was with my family that come from Québec, so it was a nice touch). We were celebrating my birthday and my seven months old niece was with us. We were scared we would not be welcome in some restaurants on the strip as it was around Valentines day and everything. But there was no problem about that; they were very kid-friendly. Thanks for making my birthday a memorable one!"
