"My mom usually loves Z'tejas (especially their margaritas) so we chose this for mother's day brunch. Service was slow, waiter messed up a couple of our orders and charged us incorrectly at the end. It wasn't any busier than a Friday or Saturday night so not sure what the problem was. I'd give it one more try since I usually like this restaurant...but overall this visit was very mediocre and I was disappointed since it was to celebrate my mom."

"Wonderful seasonal menu. The pepper stuffed with duck was amazing. Don't usually get dessert but tried the ancho fudge pie-WOW!!! So good I'm going to have to get it every time I visit from here on out. Service was great too."

"The food was great, with vegetarian and gluten free needs easily accomodated with yummy results. Our server was friendly, prompt and took care of the delivery of a wrong soup with humility and speed. Their non-alcholic apple-juice spritzer was better than any mixed drink I'd had in my drinking days.
On top of everything else, the bill was lower than in many restaurants with less positive food and reviews in the area."

"This was our 5th time dinning at this location. This time around killed it for us! Portion sizes were smaller than expected, Not a lot of food on menu that sounded appealing to our large group. Service was less than to be desired. I Had to ask 3 times for another drink, orders were mixed up and half of our food completely forgotten.

"The highlight was our server. The restaurant was very busy and we were seated a half hour late, even with a reservation. But the server was very friendly, yet professional and was quick with our orders and drinks. The food was also very good, especially the meatloaf and Aciete (?) salad."
