"My friend and I had lunch and we were not rushed at all, service was attentive, food very good. Suzanne, the owner, is a delight stopping by our table to say hello as if we were all old friends. Can't wait to go there again... It is a lovely spot! Open Twble is a great way to make a reservation!"

Then to top your Brunch off,you must experience the Profiteroles with a Cappuccino!!! An excellent Bistro to have a relaxing beverage and desert or of course on the go or to enjoy the whole meal menu!!!"

"Chat Noir is consistenly great. The ambiance is Paris and the food is wonderful. Had four of us for dinner. Endive salad was simply outstanding. Branzino and Salmon main courses were hot, and delicious. Service (especaily Maggie) was as advertised. Susanne, the owner, formerly of La Goulue has done it again."

"Some of the best service I've ever had in NYC...friendly and attentive staff without being overwhelming. The food came out quick and was delicious. Great atmosphere in a relatively small restaurant which makes it a more romantic scene. I definitiely recommend."

"Le Chat Noir is a terrific spot. It's hard to find a place is this area that is not an arm and a leg, yes this is a bit pricey, but the food and service are well worth it. The staff was welcoming and attentive even though we were not regulars - we experienced waarm and friendly servie. I had the onion soup, perfect for a winters day, it was favorful and very cheesy. Also the bronzino was fresh and grilled to perfection, it came with roated tomato and fennel. The bill was about $65 per person with tip and a bottle of wine. I would recomend this place."

"I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years, and I finally went last Friday. I don't know why I waited, because this place is great! The ambiance, the service, and the food were really very good, and this is a very cozy restaurant to hunker down with a date. I would certainly return!"

"Loved it. Great food. I had heard that it was very noisey but I was able to have a conversation. Very french. A bit too expensive but I would go back"

"The food was disappointing, there was nothing special any of the dishes served to our table of 4. What's more, the food came out so quickly that you felt it was pre-prepared. I have eaten here before and the food was better the last time. The crowd was a upper east side, face lifted group. Great location ."
