"I'd previously only been here for dinner and it was always one of my favorites in the neighborhood. I tried it for brunch and was surprised to find that although it continued to meet expectations for great food and service in an attractive setting, the noise level was terribly high especially in the back which is where I usually prefer to sit. Don't go there for brunch unless you're prepared to shout."

"A phenomenal dinner on Mothers Day that started at Bklyn Botanical Garden. Food, service & ambience were fantastic. Three-veggie soup and imported, melt-in-your-mouth Bufala mozzarella kicked off the extravaganza. Homemade wagon-wheel mac & cheese tops for kids meal. Homemade gnocchi light & fluffy, reminding me of recent Bittman article in NYT Magazine. Beautifully butterflied Branzino w/ head & tail held up well in strong, fragrant mix of greens, artichokes, olives & capers. Complimentary homemade gelato for both kids doubly appreciated since only 1 kids meal was ordered! Least-impressive was tiramisu, though hardly a put-down. Decal coffee was as good as it gets. Complimentary Limoncello was a treat. (dined 5/12/2013)"

"I came here Saturday night the 11th,with my wife for our anniversary. We were seated promptly at a nice ,quaint table.The service was great and servers were knowledgeable and kind.The portions were just right and all seemed perfect.

"everything was great except for the food... my omelet was overcooked and was not tasty. i've had it before and enjoyed it, assuming it was just an off day. the place is very cute and the service was good. i'd go back and just order the omelet making sure it's not overcooked!!"

"Tried dinner there for the dine in Brooklyn week. Only 2 entree and app options which was very disappointing. The food was underwhelming but the service was good. Had a reservation but didnt need it. It was pretty empty. We've been there before for brunch which was great so I guess our expectations for dinner were high. Not sure if I'll b back."

"Got the burrata app - came with only two small crostini. I asked for more toast and was told that I could not have any more. Limited supply. I spent 200 dollars on dinner, including a bottle of wine. I will never eat at this place again. Mediocre - especially compared to so many great places in Brooklyn."

"I wanted to like this restaurant. Good location. Nice ambiance inside with small fire place in the back. Service was good and waiter was helpful. The problem was that the food was just ok. They are trying to do a lot and everything was just a little bland. Also the pasta dishes were SWIMMING in sauce. However the pasta was cooked perfectly. Bread was old.
Nice place, but the food needs tweaking."

"I treated my parents to dinner here and we could not have had a better experience. Our server was friendly, attentive but not overbearing, and he played along with my dad's jokes (always a plus). We opted for a few of the specials that were out of this world delicious, and my pasta leftovers were great the next day, too. Definitely put Scottadito on your bucket list!"

"My second time here and second time very happy. The friendly, happy staff make you feel very welcome. On a cold, snowy Winter's night this place was very warm and inviting. Although I was a little disappointed at first with a Negroni served in a wine goblet with way too much ice, everything else was a home run. Frisée salad with pear, goat cheese and walnuts was perfectly fresh. The saffron pasta with seafood was spot-on with nothing over or under cooked. Tiramisu for dessert was not too decadent and a great end to the meal.
While prices are not inexpensive, no god Italian restaurant is. Here you get well prepared, fesh and tasty food with great service in a nice atmosphere finished with a glass of homemade Limoncello. Buon Appetito!"
