"I had the ribs and brisket. Both were smoked to perfection. My sides were macaroni and cheese and French fries. The macaroni was amazing. Service was speedy. I would recommend this restaurant to any BBQ lover."

"Iron Starr is one of my favorite places in OKC. I'm often amazed it's not more crowded than it is. The food is great, the place itself is very cool, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. If you live in or near that part of town (36th and Shartel), and you haven't eaten there, you should check it out."

"Will go back-food very good but our waitress was a bit stand-offish and really undeserving of my generous tip. Our waitress (and the restaurant was not busy-8 other people in the restaurant) but we still had to ask for re-fills on our teas-twice!! We explained that this was our first visit to the restaurant but seemed unfazed and offered no advice as to selections on the menu."
