"We really enjoyed every thing about our dinning experience. Unfortinitly this was the final night the place would be open. They are moving to a new location and changing thier name to the EDGE. Will probably open again mid to late summer."

"The staff went out of their way to make my wife's birthday celebration great by giving her a flower bouquet to take home. Food was good, but it tooK far too long to get it. The place was nearly empty, but had one large table that was sapping all the resources for the entire restaurant. Prices were ok, but be prepared for a wait. If you decide to go be sure to try the fries as an appetizer, you wont be disappointed!"

"We were a group of 5 who all ordered the shrimp and grtis which I had before and liked a lot. This time the shrimp was overcooked but the flavor of the dish was good. Two of us had Caesar Salad and they were out of anchovies. Wedge salads were excellent as were creme brûlée and ice cream with chocolate covered strawberries. Service was excellent and I will go back particularly on night when there is live music. Have been there several times before."

"Overall, would echo same as several other reviews that food was good, edging toward very good, but service and atmosphere combined with higher prices bring the overall score down. Might be viewed as nit picking but the waitress had trouble pronouncing the names (French) of the specials for rhe evening. Also, my wife an I were seated close enough to the kitchen that quite a bit of noise came through. If you caught a night where meal was not up to par, I could see folks walking out not impressed for money spent."

"We had a good time at Magnolia's. The food was good and they did cater to my wife's gluten intolerance. The only down side was that our waitress seemed a little busy for us. Usually other waiter help out and notice when another table needs something. This didn't seem to be the case. I had to ask for a second bottle of wine 3 times. We made the reservations partially into the end of the dinner rush and thought it wouldn't be as busy. Other than the waitress being absent the experience was good."

"This dining experience would be off the charts if our service had been more timely. We were seated 20+ minutes before we got our drinks and the rest of the night went the same. We had to flag down someone to refill our water glasses. We were told dessert would be a twenty minute wait (it was 25) but the coffee we ordered at the same time didn't come until after the dessert was brought to the table... The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable but seemed to have too many tables to take care of properly."

"It was Valentine's Day weekend, so I took the slower service with a heart-shaped grain of salt, but they did hand out roses at the end of the meal, so that was nice. The food was quite good; steak cooked to specification, with nice overall presentation. The only real complaint I had was that we were sat next to the windows, and in the middle of February, the old glass let a lot of cold creep through.
I would say this restaurant makes a great special occasion spot, as the price for dinner does not fit in most people's every-day budget (in my opinion). Just make sure to make a reservation!"
