"I have been going to Xixon since it was a little place with three tables and served only sandwiches. I have always loved the food! Xixon blossomed into the great restaurant it is today due to the personalized care of the owners/servers, and the quality and variety of the food. None of the dishes ever disappoint, however, the service can be slow at times, especially if you have a large party but the food makes up for it."

"Authentic spanish recipes, beef tripe a la madrilena, stuffed baby squid and many more. Nice selection of spanish wines at very decent prices. Very extensive menu, I will go for sure again. We were a party of four, servers very accommodating,we had an early dinner before going to opera, the restaurant was not very busy at that time. So far the best and the most authentic tapas place I've been in South Florida.Excellent dining experience."

"Xixion offers incredible, authentic Spanish cuisine. We enjoyed the tapas items and the wine. We brought our young children (ages 5 and 9) and they both enjoyed some of the items ordered as well. Our Spanish server was warm, friendly and great with the kids. She made great suggestions on food and wine and even did a little Spanish lesson with my girls. Overall a wonderful experience. One caution is if you are staying in Miami Beach area without a car.....it is about a $30 (each way) cab ride but TOTALLY worth it!"

"Best thing on the menu: Croquettes and Calamares. Chorizos a la sidra, the potato salad, and lentejas are also good. Chuletitas de cordero and solomillo de cerdo are overpriced. The famous Turron ice cream was very good, as well as the chocolate cake. I ordered the Trio de chocolate and someone brought a completely different dessert out, claiming they didn't have what I ordered. You don't do that to a customer. ASK me what I would prefer instead. Service was ok, not great. Expect to spend $40 per person. MAKE RESERVATIONS, especially on the weekend."

"I knew things will not go well as soon as they told me that my reservation (done through Open Table) was there but there was no table, but a small bar table in a dungeon, not fit for the five of us. To say that the service was horrible will be unfair to the word horrible. Over priced food, bad service, and lack of ambiance, what a combination. If you have ever gone to Spain and walk into ANY tapas bar you will find out what a terrible place Xixon is."
