Luca Bella features a 20 person bar, comfortable furnishings, dimmed lighting, and a blend of soft caramel colors, accented with a few bright fabrics to create a modern twist to an authentic Italian eatery. Our name, inspired by Maltese's two children, Marcelo Luca and Isabella, will feature walls accented with baby pictures, as well as a see-through kitchen and a stunningly beautiful mocha polished concrete floor.
Our family-style portions of popular Italian-American comfort foods, will feature a variety of classic appetizers like clams casino and fried zucchini, savory soups like pasta fagioli and crisp salads, like our Italian chopped salad with imported salami and provolone. The menu will also offer numerous pasta dishes, baked Italian specialties like Mascarpone meat lasagna that will take center stage, plus a host of veal, pork, chicken and seafood entrees.
"This is the second time we've been here. The first time was a disaster, from service to food to ambience (noise level). This time was much better. The service was very good, and the food was also very good. The Caesar salad was good and freshly made but a bit bland. The healthy eggplant Parmesan (eggplant not breaded and fried) was excellent. We got the full size portions. Each was shared by 2 people and the portions were perfect for that. The dessert, which we shared around the table was a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream. It was more than enough for the 4 of us. Thank you, Mickey, for making this a much more pleasant experience."

"Food was great No shortage of taste unfortunately for what is billed as a family style restaurant it is not the portions are small as compared to other same style locations but the prices are as much if not more We spent 50 dollars ordering 2 orders of pasta for what you could get up the street at a very comparable non family style location for half the price the only thing that would make sense is that the owners family must have consisted of 2 people Again the food tasted wonderful but BEWARE if your going with a family you better be prepared to order double what you think you will need the full size portions are half size anywhere else"

"food was good but a side of pasta would have been nice with each dinner, a bit over prices food and wine for type of food. prices were equal with a fine dining but not the food or service."

"Glad we gave Luca Bella a try. - Mickey and his team to an outstanding job. Their Italian food is some of the best around. Mickey has brought along his knowledge and expertise from his previous restaurant and took it to the next level. They will take care of you and you will leave happy."

"This opened up in the space formerly occupied by Chef Allen. It does not disappoint! Great food and service in a lovely atmosphere. The clams were amazing. We will be back!"

"Four of us shared 2 main courses and a pasta dish that were all delicious. The hot rolls were served with deliciously sweet roasted garlic. We all loved the roasted brussel sprouts. Luca Bella is now our new favorite Italian Restaurant in Aventura."

"The restaurant is a good Italian place to eat at. The only problem is that the service their is slow and could be faster. I like the owner, he interacts with everybody and is very funny. I would come back for sure every time. Another plus, they show the heat game that day."

"We were a table of 6. Our waiter was most accommodating in selecting dishes and in service. The marinara sauce was the best I have ever had! Everyone enjoyed!"
