"Napa Cafe was our night out sans kids. The ambience was great. Our server was not very knowledgable about the dishes. She had not even tried 2 of the dishes we asked about. The food was good, but for what it was and how much we got, it seemed a bit overpriced. Overall, it was a nice experience, just a little pricey."

"Excellent menu selection, and our server was very good in spite of how very busy the restaurant was, and having to maneuver through patrons, other employees, and patrons visiting other patrons and blocking the narrow pathways. My wife had the salmon and I had the shrimp and grits, and both entrees were excellent. If you don't want to mess with a wine list, you can simply ask your server what they have close to your choice, and they'll take it from there. In short - excellent food, attentive staff, and friendly ownership/management."

"Napa Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants. We go back so often because it never disappoints. the dining rooms are small so noise is limited, yet they are attractively decorated. The food is always very good. My wife loves their filet and I choose from their many fish dishes. And their salads are tasty and they offer a variety of different salads to choose from. The wine list is somewhat limited but has a good quality and price range. The praline ice cream dessert is so good!!"

"We both started with the spinach salad with the walnuts. I've had better but it was good. The bread was also good but needed salt.
Absolutely loved my entree. Had the scallops with risotto, very very delicious.
My husband had the shrimp and grits, we did not care for the way it was prepared.
They do not have a cocktail menu. We were disappointed about this. I asked if they could make a chocolate martini, they said yes...but it was not good at all.
We had the cheesecake for dessert, it was light and fluffy. My husband enjoyed it."

"The food was excellent...the wine/wine list not so much. I would rate the food a 9/10 and the wine a 3/4. Not only was the wine list VERY short, but when we ordered a second bottle of our selection (we had four in our party) she announced "that was the only bottle of Sequoia Grove that we have." The bar service was slow and weird as well. We've eaten here many times over the years and its disappointing to see such what could be a great restaurant if they fixed the wine problem."

"Wehad a great experience. We were staying across the street at the DoubleTree. It was freezing cold and snowing so we opted to walk to someplace close rather than drive in the snow. The restaurant was warm and friendly. The wine was good and fairly priced. I had the salmon and my husband had the scallops. They were both really good. There are a lot of great places to eat in Memphis and I am glad we stumbled upon this one. We will be back."
