"We've enjoyed some very good meals here. The food is always well prepared and tasty. Our only caveat is that service suffers a little if you are seated in a back room of the house. I guess you are just a little too "out of sight-out of mind" of the waiters. It also seems a bit noisier when you are tucked into a smaller room rather than a space with more openness to it. This isn't the best circumstance for older guests who might be a little hard of hearing."

"We had a great dinner at Atmosphere. The food was fantastic, escargot, the Ahi special and the scallops were all first class. A nice wine list with prices that make sense and not to mention a very high degree of service without stuffiness. Next up for us is the wine tasting paired with chef specialties."

"On my last trip to Atlanta, my SO and I really tried to do a different, really nice meal each day. We had lunch at Nan one day and dinner at Atmosphere and Rathbun's for dinner the next two days. We loved all three but both agreed that if we could only go back to one, it would be Atmosphere. We even went back for Sunday brunch before leaving town."

"Went for Mothers Day Brunch. Servers were great, but they were too busy, and our lunch took over 3 hours. we had to ask for most everything, silverware, spoons for soup, extra plates for appetizers. Food was just so so, nothing to write home about."

"This was our fourth visit to this bistro. As in past visits, we were warmly greeted, seated right away, asked for drink order, all in excellent time. The food was expertly prepared and the portions were well measured......no one left hungry. We tried the wine specials and were very pleased as well. All in all, we will return."

"The quality of the food at Atmosphere is infinitely better than the food at more popular restaurants such as Bistro Niko and FNB. The moules marinieres (mussels) and truite amandine (trout with almonds) are among the best I have eaten anywhere. The owners are very warm and friendly. The staff is very professional and polite. My 12 year old daughter has named Atmosphere her favorite place to eat in Atlanta. That fact, alone, speaks volumes."

"Finally got a chance to go to this restaurant and it was well worth the wait. I was dining alone and all of the staff struck a perfect balance of providing excellent service while not annoying a customer that was obviously enjoying some "alone" time. "We looked for a place to go for Saturday brunch in Midtown & lucked out when we found Atmosphere Bistro!What a neat little place.Despite the constant flow of traffic on Piedmont, AB is set in a lovely intersection near Morningside & a beautiful walk from the Marriott Suites on 14th!Good thing we got some exercise b4 & after our meal because it was so wonderful we ate everything!Crepe was light & its chicken filling was creme de la creme.French fries crispy but not greasy.Chacuterie plate was fun asst of meats.I loved the yellow walls & other muted but artsy decor.Very nice place & service was with a smile. "This is an authentic French owned mom and pop (and son) operation, with delicious French cuisine in a charming 1920's vintage bungalow with a terrace for outdoor dining, conveniently located on Piedmont Road a few blocks north of Piedmont Park and the Botanical Garden. It is a great brunch spot, and equally reliable and for dinner. They can accommodate private events in a back room of the house, and the noise level allows for comfortable conversation, a rare and wonderful thing in the otherwise ridiculously noisy restaurant scene in Atlanta."

The menu is based on French foods, but the chef doesn't drown the foods in heavy sauces; plenty of light options for those watching calories. "Atmosphere is a nice restaurant setting very reminiscent of a similar establsihemnt in a French provincial town. Their menu comprises some calssic dishes along wiht some less common regional specialties that are rare to find in the US. Good wine list as well.
They do have outdoor dining, although not very pleasant as it is along Piedmont Rd.
Neagitve point: Most evenings they have Valet parking for reasons unkown as the parking in the rear represents a 30 s walk! You spend more time waiting for your car to be picked up and brought to you."

"The food was great, a little rich but then it is French. Service was very helpful to two people who didn't know the French vineyard. The wine selection chosen with the waiters help was great as was the overall service. Very ambient and hope to make it back for the brunch."

"We have been to Atmosphere many times. This particular occasion was for a Valentine's Day lunch, but we have been there for dinner several times as well. Atmosphere is uniformly a great experience. Excellent food, service and "atmosphere." I really love this restaurant."

"Atmosphere Bistro was a lovely choice, although not for Valentine's Day. It was overpriced with a $55 per person three-course meal. Although the saffron creme with salmon and 5-spice parsnip puree were inventive, I felt the chef was heavy-handed with the cream. It was too rich for me. However, we should have expected that from a French restaurant. The portions were generous and the service was excellent. If you are a fan of the creamy cheesy goodness of French food, then this is a must try. Otherwise, I felt it was overpriced and would have preferred to try the a la carte menu as opposed to the set holiday menu."

"Came to atmosphere on valentines day and had a very special experience, thanks atmosphere! Just a couple points of constructive criticism to perhaps consider. The lights in the back room where we were eating were surging, which was sort of distracting. My date (an interior designer) stated he wished that the interior was decorated better, that is why I gave you guys a very good on that score. Service was outstanding, no work needed on that department...I think our servers name was anthony (?), a younger darker haired man. Food was also exquisite, I normally don't care much for duck, but I couldnt keep my hands off of your orange duck (vday). Ate every last bite, and those mashed potatoes were OUTSTANDING."

"Our first time at Atmosphere as I was looking for something traditionally French. The menu was just that. With predictable menu selections the execution was first rate. Flavors, quality, seasoning, and presentations we wonderful. The belgian endive salad was a hit. Duck confit and Oso Buco were perfectly cooked, presented, and served hot without being overcooked or dried out. A short but credible wine list with a few pleasantly priced alternatives for first rate wines. The only minor "miss" was the squash soup. Good flavor, color and texture, but the squash was missing in my opinion. A lovely chicken stock cream soup for the winter, needing more of that main ingredient...still good though. Definitely will be back!!"

"This was out first visit to Atmosphere, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was intimate, the wait staff attentive. I had the escargot, and they were perfectly done, very buttery and garlicky, as they should be. I had the $35.00 price fix dinner, and it was just the right amount, plus the lemon sorbet was to die for. It was supposed to come with a shot of vodka, instead they brought it with the cookie, (the $25.00 dinner option) but I had forgotten myself until it was almost gone. We will definitely go back."

"This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We had a taste for French cuisine and were in the buckhead area so we gave it a try. The drinks were great (wine and martinis) service was flawless and the food was very good. It was a rainy night in February and we dined early so I can't speak too much about the clientele atmosphere or the outside patio, but it is a quaint cozy home type restaurant."

"While visiting New Orleans, a French lady, Madame Sonia highly recommended Atmosphere Bistro. She was right! The food was perfectly prepared and delicious (Escargot, Eggs Benedict, and Profiteroles, accompanied by the Bellruche Cotes-Du-Rhone). The Server, Daniel, was friendly, helpful and attentive. He excelled at what he did and added to the excellence of the dining experience. There is much to love about Paris, especially the passion and attention the Parisians bring to food preparation. It appears that Atmosphere Bistro brings that same passion and attention to a dining experience for their customers. We look forward to our return visit!"
