HAVEN is an upscale eatery set in a loft with exposed brick walls, warm pecky cypress woods and soft amber lighting. The cuisine is modern American influenced by French, continental and hints of new southern. HAVEN has enjoyed remarkable success during the past seven years. Voted a top ten restaurant for six years straight, HAVEN has become quite the Atlanta destination. Haven is located in the heart of Brookhaven in the wonderfully charming Village Park Place development. The restaurant is nestled in a popular historical neighborhood one mile north of Buckhead.

"Haven is one of the most consistently high-quality dining experiences in Atlanta. Saturday was no exception...and the Halibut was to die for! Our server, Rob, was excellent!
Unfortunately the valet had backed-in a perfectly restored 1967-69 Camaro R/S Convertible right in front of the door with the tailpipes facing the door. As we were eating in the courtyard someone started the Camaro and let it idle for a few minutes...I thought everyone was going to choke and I can't imagine what the folks inside were smelling. It was gone in a few minutes, but it was memorable...in a bad way. Love the car, just park it away from the the dining area next time, or at least point the tail the other way.
To end on a positive...Haven really does rock!"

"It had been a while that we had been to Haven from a bad experience before, but everything was excellent this time. The soft shell crab (special) app was outstanding. My tuna was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Scallops were outstanding. We will be back again soon."

"The food was truly, very good - everyone had a different entree and all were very happy. We had reservations for a party of 8 and were seated in a small room in the back of the restaurant, at a table suitable for 5 people (the table was also broken). The host was gracious when we asked for a more comfortable table. Staff seemed annoyed to serve our meals...perhaps a little training would help."

"We recently went to Haven for Mother's day brunch and have been many times before. I was a little dissappointed that they had a preset menu as some of our favorite items were not included. The menu was $29.00 per person which at the end we felt was WAY overpriced for what you got. We will go back but this was VERY overpriced for brunch and the experience. For four people we spend $180.00 with a few mimosas thrown in."

"This is the third time in less than two months that I have had the wonderful pleasure of dining at Haven. Each time has been unique in itself. Dining outside is preferred. The band on Thursday night is outstanding and the food and service always fabulous. No matter what the occasion, Haven is a favorite - just make sure you reserve your table."

"I took my girlfriend to Haven after being recommended to it by a friend, when I got there there was already a table set for 2 waiting for me. Our waiter, Scotty, was very courteous and fast. It was a very good experience, and I know that the next time I can afford to take my girl out, I'm coming back here because of the exceptional service and overall food quality."

"I went to this restaurant on a Sat night. The service was fair re: table service, but overall I did not think the staff behaved at the caliber that the menu prices dictated.
There was a bunch of broken glass all around our outdoor table which we noticed once we sat down but we didnt want to get up and move.
Then a member of the wait staff started making a ton of noise on the patio with a table that was broken (?) - metal tables on concrete=not nice dining noise.
And lastly, the food was pretty good with most things we ordered...but not all. The portions were way way small for the prices, and the salad I got with "blue cheese" dressing tasted like...nothing - except maybe watery mayo.
Overall, I would not waste time here again to be honest."

"Husband ordered ricotta tortellini that was tasty and with good presentation. He also had the grilled caesar salad. It is not a traditional Caesar salad and it is small. (Tortellini alone would not have been sufficient.) I ordered the pork tenderloin special with black eye peas. Entree tasty, but meat a tad dry. The potato hay is wonderful. A friend ordered the pork special as I did and another ordered the cold potato leek soup with shrimp (one). On this particular Friday night, the restaurant was not busy. The food at Haven is good, not great (with the exception of the potato hay). The prices are too high for what they serve. Cocktails are well-prepared; good place for a drink at the bar and appetizers."

"Great food, great service. We ate inside because there was live music outside and this was a business dinner. I had Indian visitors with me the were vegetarian. The chef prepared some additional dishes that were veggie and spicy that were not on the menu. It made my guests feel special. All the food was super."

"Not our first dining experience with Haven, but Saturday night was one of the best meals we have eaten there. It was after 9pm so we skipped the potato hay, but the fried oysters were fabulous as always, the grilled-romaine Caesar was out-of-control delicious, and the sliced beef tenderloin entree presented another perfect combination of wonderful flavors! OMG - the blueberry dessert with cinnamon ice cream was incredible...it was made like a turnover...yum! Our server was new to Atlanta and Haven, but she was very knowledgeable and attentive, and helped make our evening a dream!"

"We recently moved from Midtown to Brookhaven and decided to try Haven for my husband's birthday dinner. We can definitely see Haven as our new go to nice restaurant. The menu was varied and interesting. I liked that you could also make a meal of the small bites section of the menu and/or a couple near us shared 3 courses and the waiter seemed excited by their choices not upset that they were sharing.
The service was excellent with the right amount of attentiveness. The waiter knew the wine list well and made a great suggestion.
We will be back!"

"First time at burger night - great deal and burger. Regular menu not as appetizing to me personally, have hard time finding something to eat typically here. The grouper bites were great! Server very accomodating -celebrated birthday and brought in small cake which they served to us."

"I was very impressed with Haven. It is a very busy restaurant, which does make it a bit loud, so I wouldnt reccomend it if you are looking for a quiet romantic night. That being said, if you are looking for great food, good wine and drinks, and a fun energetic place I highly recommend. Nice to see places like this p in the north buckhead area which has been so restaurant ho hum for so long.
Overall a really wonderful experience."

"We really enjoyed this visit. I had a somewhat disappointing experience over a year ago and this was my first time back and it was very good. Our waiter took exceptional care of us and did the little things like showing us the evening's special salad (which we ordered and loved). The bar made great drinks...I love the fact that they use high end alcohol (like Tito's) in the rail. And then they topped it off with a wonderful bread pudding for my wife's birthday. An outstanding evening and they have cleared any bad cobwebs."

"Outstanding restaraunt. It was my first time but my friends had been there many times. The food was outstanding. The Beef Tartar was scrumptious. And then I had an excellent Spinach salad. And finished the meal with a lovely Salmon with Cous Cous, Olives and cucumbers. And our waiter was superp and really added to the overall enjoyment."

"Went to Haven for fixed price Easter brunch. Nice food selecton and was very tasty. Service was friendly and attentive but was a bit slow (kitchen, not the server himself). Decent price for the brunch, but found the wine to be overpriced at $12 a glass. Was nice to have our table ready the moment we arrived (we had reservations but they were also very busy)."

"Portions ridiculously small. Completely rushed out from the moment we sat down for brunch. Literally after our appetizer we were being asked if we wanted desserts and if we needed to go boxes. Nice atmosphere. Owner was very nice but portions were minute and diet servings. With a table of 5, when ordered a appetizer of biscuits, we were given 3 petite biscuits. When we asked for more, we were brought two. It's as if everything is being stock counted in the back. Food taste was good, but amount was extremely disappointing and was felt by all around the table. Service was not good by waiter."

"I was very disappointed in the value of the fix-price menu. The cost of the three courses if ordered individually did not appear to add up to the fix price cost. I was also very disappointed in the dessert portion, it was literally one fork full, hardly an adult portion. We will return to Haven but that was our last fix-price brunch from there."

"Our first visit to Haven was delightful. We were seated near the kitchen, which I normally do not like, but it turned out to be perfect. We met the Chef and he couldn't have been friendlier and we were able to check out all the dishes before making our final selections. Our table ordered 4 different seafood dishes and everyone was excellent and had amazing flavors. The recommended wine was delish and we will be going back again

"We ate at 5:45 on a Saturday night. By the time we left it was completely full, but the noise was still not terrible. It looked like a local gathering place, filled with nice looking people.
