"This is a "must go to" for everyone! Eclectic fresh creative flavorful menu, organic and locally farmed, prepared beautifully, and a dessert menu you've never had before, anywhere. "If you are entertaining for business this should be at the top of your list. The food was excellent - foam, bacon, and pig ears. Excellent first courses. The dinner selections were prepared perfectly. My duck was exceptionally prepared. The service was excellent; attentive, friendly, timely, and invisible. We were a party of 8 mid-week and it was like having our own private kitchen and wait staff. The venue is open airy & rustic with an upscale feel. The bar area was also well laid out and roomy. Who ever is running this place has been around restaurants for a long time and knows what they are doing!"

"We had an amazing experience for our first (but not last) visist to Flyte. The food was amazing, great flavors, our server was very knowledgeable about all the dishes, it wasn't too crowded therefore not too noisy, and be sure to order dessert! "We had a late reservation to this restaurant and were the last people dining but they made us feel very welcome. Our server was excellent and the food was so original and fantastic. It was our first trip to Nashvile and our favorite restaurant! Delicious!! We will be back. We live in Los Angeles and this was much better than so many of the good restaurants there. Another plus was the food comes from local farms."

"My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed our early dinner at Flyte on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Among the three of us we had the tagliatelle, pork loin and the halibut as entrees from the spring menu. All three entrees were perfectly prepared and delicious. We can't wait to return in a few weeks to try the summer menu."

"A great limited menu. The food is prepared perfectly if "seemingly" simply using the best of the modern techniques. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive though somewhat shakier on the food preparation than on the wine list. The chef was kind enough to come out and explain some of what went on in the kitchen. The only minor complaint would be the menu descriptions are so simplified as to leave some level of confusion as to what you will get. ie. An apple biscuit (what was on the menu) and a beignet (what was served) do not convey the same thing."

"My husband and I just celebrated our 10th Anniversary at Flyte. Dinner was AMAZING! We are a vegan couple and Flyte prepared an entire menu of vegan appetizers and entrees that we could select from... We chose to sample everything (six courses in all) and every dish we tried was absolutely incredible! Our server Todd was also amazing, and ensured that each dish we sampled was paired with a complementing wine. Delicious and such a special evening to celebrate our 10 year milestone. "I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The food was amazing. Nothing on the menu was ordinary but each meal appeared to be well thought out and the combination of each ingredient complimented each other. I had all three courses (I never eat desert and rarely an appetizer) but I couldn't resist trying what they had to offer and glad I did. All the ingredients were from local farmers - I love this about their choices. Their wine list was not the largest I've seen but the variety was perfect - many great choices (I'm a wine lover). They had wines from all over the world - great choices you don't often see in restaurants. I will definitely be back."

"This is my third visit to Flyte; others being 2008 and 2010. The only this that is similar is the building. My party had the 6 course fixed price menu. The local food sources coupled with a new chef's creativity created a most unexpected and delicious adventure.
Maggie our server was most knowledgable and attentive. The only negative is that we happened to hit band night at the bar. Despite sitting well away from the bar area a business diner where work was coupled with dining would have been a challenge. I would definitely return when a band was not entertaining."

"The Halibut is the dish to order!! I never believed that serving a piece of fish on top of a mish mash of beans, kale greens, and cornbread would be as good as it was. I guess that's why they call it fusion! I would highly recommend this place to anyone."

There are some quirky items on the menu that like fried pis ears but if that rocks your boat, I am confident they are well made. "I was in Nashville for a conference. Another gentlemen from the conference (from New York) said he heard of this restuarant from a co worker. Excellent food, great wine, and a great conversation with our British bartender / server. He set the atmosphere for a very enjoyable dinner. It was a refreshing experience to have a bartender that was living up to the tradition "the bartender knows all". His knowledge of the food, spirits and our conversations on religion politics history ect... I will recommend to all with a side note to try to get a seat at the bar;)"

"Not the first time at Flyte and this was wonderful as we have come to expect. The food, superb- I had the lyonnaise salad, delicious, the flavor a perfect. My husband had the cauliflower agnoloitti which tasted like some perfectionist Italian had created, best pasta imaginable! My husband had the chicken breat and I had the pork loin for our main and oth were excellent. Now just one flag the serving portions are small. However the small portions mean that you can eat three course and enjoy each bite without leaving like you need to loosen the top button of your pants. So yes we had dessert! I had the dreamisicle cheesecake & my husband had the "it's summer somewhere" both were beautifully presented and to die for."

"Make sure when you go to Flyte you have plenty of time for dinner. You don't want to have to leave to get somewhere after, otherwise you'll miss out on a lot of deliciousness, but also be hungry. The menu is designed to order many things. Since we had a show to get to, we didn't have time to enjoy all Flyte had to offer."

"Fantastic meal, great service and amazing experience. I took my husband there for his 40th birthday and I wanted a special atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the hostess was polite, the bartender was attentive, and our waiter literally talked us through every item on the menu (the spicy pigs ears are a must). They also let us sit in a lovely corner table after we requested it. I recommend trying a flyte of the wine to sample some of their amazing flavors, and also try some of their "soft" nonalcoholic cocktails if you're not able to drink. Save room for dessert, but don't worry, the portions are managable and it's all about the taste versus getting "stuffed". An A+ experience!"

"I have been to Flyte twice now, and enjoyed it both times. I think it's kind of pricey for what you get- but I do love the farm to table aspect. I do think that there are other restaurants in town who do a better job of implementing the Farm to Table concept. Our waitress wasn't as knowledgeable as I would have liked, but overall it was a good experience!"

"went for our anniversary, and were seated right away - wasn't too crowded for a Saturday night. convinced my wife to go with the 6 course chef's choice meal, and he picked 3 of the dishes we would have ordered anyway - food was very good, imaginative combinations of local ingredients. Waiter (Scott) doubled as our sommelier, and his recommendation for the 2nd bottle was spot on with our tastes.
We also spotted a couple of celebrities who are filming a movie here (hint - we were only 1 degree of separation from Kevin Bacon), which made for an interesting evening.
Would definitely recommend for nice, romantic evening."

"I'm never disappointed at Flyte -- the food is always perfectly prepared, fresh and flavorful, with local, seasonal ingredients and relative simplicity (but complex and interesting enough that I would ever think, "oh, I could do this at home just as well"!). The 3-course prix fixe menu (which I think is not stated on the menu but is available if you ask for it) is a great deal. Everyone at my table had something different, and we all liked what we had so much we almost didn't want to share! Oh, and the service is friendly and attentive, without being cloying. The wine list is extensive, with lots of wines available by the glass (and half-glass)- all good quality and broad price range. Definitely one of Nashville's top 5 restaurants!"

"We got excellent service and the food was really good. We celebrated two birthdays, and they brought us all champagne. This is the only restaurant that ever called in advance to find out if anyone needed a special diet or had other food requirements. We were very impressed with the attention before and during our meal. We will go back."

"Noting in my reservation notes that we would be on a rare date-night & would prefer an intimate table if possible, we were met with a WONDERFUL cozy, corner booth that I easily could have curled up in after dinner for hours had it not been closing time! The Beverage Director, Doc Downs, has always had an amazing attention to detail & not only remembered it was my birthday (I had not noted this when making the reservation) but had taken the liberty of informing their pastry Chef (Tony) as well. Tony so sweetly brought us a sampling of his favorite items & told us all about them (they were delicious!). Flyte has been quietly & consistently raising the bar on the Nashville dining scene for almost a decade now & hopefully many more to come!"

"Flyte was an excellent choice for a romantic night out with the hubs. We ate at the bar (they offered the full menu!) because we needed to eat earlier than our initial reservation. Great choice! The duck was absolutely divine (I ordered three course chef's choice). DH had the pork chop. He ordered it with no pink and it was a little dry, but the carrots were scrumptious. We loved it and will recommend it to our Nashville friends."

"went for the Valentine's Day special, and was severely disappointed in the lack of food for a $300 meal. My girlfriend and I went to a drive-tru on our way home. I think it's a converted warehouse or something because there are several metal pipes and valves in the ceiling and on many of the walls ranging from small to 2-3 feet wide. Some might find this "artsy" or "hipster", but I thought it was a real eye-sore. it wasn't very romantic at all.."

"Made a reservation to celebrate Valentine's Day at Flyte (Prix Fixe menu). First time there. Service was fine (we brought our own wine and paid a corkage fee; very acceptable). The QUALITY of the food served for the courses was very good. However, the QUANTITY was abyssmal. I have been to many upscale venues, and I am not a very big eater. However,though the appetizer & salads were small, the entree'/main course was laughingly (insultingly) small. I had read in online reviews that their portions may be small, but I was dumbfounded. My spouse and I ordered the New York Strip choice. what we received were two small medallions, approx 3 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick & 4 to 5 pinky-sized fingerling potatoes. Won't return!"
