"We go to the theater a lot and this restaurant is close to all Broadway theaters. Their food is always good, very friendly service and our favorite desert is Tatuffo. Also this restaurant doesn't play crazy music in blast like other TRENDY restaurants that you can enjoy conversation with your friends."

"We went here early, before the theater. The place was packed so it was noisy and difficult to move around as the tables are close together. The food was wonderful, some homemade pastas and other classic Italian fare. Good location pre theater."

"A great surprise for a NYC restaurant. Extremely acommadating staff, willing to adjust their menu to your needs...and nicely. Reasonable prices, good quality food(even had the "basics", like Veal Parm) Noise level was better then most places. We had a party of 5, and had "no complaints". This restaurant is a "find" for the area. We will surely be back."

"Da Tommaso is a real pre-theater treat. It's much more romantic and far less chaotic than most restaurants in the neighborhood, even though it's small. The menu has a great selection from which to choose, and the food is quite delicious."

"Nice but I don't think I will return. The ceaser salad was bland. Our pasta dishes were tasty. The service was very good. The restaurant is very quiet considering it is very small and the tables are very close together. The ladie's/men's rooms are visible from the main restaurant which was not appealing. Also they like for you to check your coats since its very tight to walk among the tables; yet the coat check is tiny and one of our coats was mia for about 5 minutes and was then found on the floor. (yuck)
It was convenient for us as we went to the Broadway Theater only a couple of blocks away. I don't think I will return."

"There was nothing really wrong that I can point to about Da Tomnmaso. And in fact, my stuffed pork chop special was quite delicous. But, there was something that was just a little off about this restaurant that makes it not a place that I would return to. It is in midtown, near many of the Broadway theatres and we were there prior to curtain for a show, and yet it wasn't terribly busy. The place had a strange vibe. The waiter wasn't inattentive, and he wasn't rude, but, somehow, he made me feel uneasy.
There were many good reviews of this this restaurant, and then some really bad ones, it leaves me not knowing what to think. But, there are so many restaurants in this city to explore. I won't return to Da Tommaso."

"The food was great. Made a reservation but did not need it. However, the restaurant did fill up very quickly around 7 pm . Service was very attentive but very rushed...too many wait staff persons on the same table made things a little confusing at times. I would recommend dinning here when you are in a hurry... Food was good for the rest of the party except me because my veal chop, while good tasting was not cooked to order. I asked for medium rare and had it well done. Big mistake or else I would have rated the overall experience outstanding. The drinks could have been stronger, less measured.
