"Our first time at Aria's was before a Capitol Steps performance on Saturday May 11, 2013. Had read several reviews about Aria's slow service.We experienced EXCELLENT service, although it was not crowded. We left plenty of time for dinner and we finished well ahead of the performance. Food was very good, not pricey and quantity more than enough. My wife had chicken parm and I had the eggplant parm. We were hoping to eat outside but mother nature had other ideas so we eat inside. Great location and if you are attending an event at the Reagan Building Aria's the perfect place to eat if you are looking for good Italian food at a very reasonable price in DC. We will return again next time we are in the area to try some of their other dishes."

"There was absolutely no customer service. They took forever to bring the food and did not refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything additional. It took an extra 20 minutes to get the check. I would never go here again!"

"We went after the lunch rush and it was quiet. The service was slow and not terribly attentive but nice. Don't get the sandwiches or wraps. Stick to the salads and pastas. We got the buffalo chicken wrap... Not great at all."

"This was my first time at Aria Pizzeria & Bar. I was told it use to be Michael Jordan's Sports Bar years ago. It was recommended to me for our office luncheon, we had a very nice time. I will definitely be back."

"We were in DC on spring break and wanted something close to the Smithsonian for dinner that would please our kids as well as give us a decent meal. I found Aria was close by - about 10 minutes from the National Museum of American History. I checked OpenTable and we could get a reservation for 30 minutes out which was perfect. We showed up and were immediately seated. The food was very good and I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices. I had the eggplant parm which was only $11. My wife had a similar pasta dish that was similarly priced. Kids had pizza and pasta which they all enjoyed very much. The atmosphere is busy, which is fine. It seems to be a popular after work place which told me it was popular with the locals."

"This was the first time I had been here and would love to come back in the summer for what appears to be great outdoor seating. The pizza was excellent, salad fresh and according to all who had them the potato skins were also good. Great place for children due to its laid back atmosphere"

"This was a great place for a pizza lunch for a big group (12 of us). We sat in the glass terrace. The sun was shining and the area was quiet so we could have easy conversation among our group. The pizzas were delicious and we all had a great time."

"Normally a great restaurant, but do not go for special occasions. We had a lunch with a surprise dessert for a birthday. She's vegan, so I brought the dessert, and put a message in my reservation about it. I also called the restaurant about it and was told there's a $5 per person cutting charge. I gave the pie to the host and explained the situation. After lunch, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert and went to ring up our check. I ran after her and she had NO idea there was a dessert. Then when they brought it out, instead of one piece per person, they cut it completely and put two pieces on each plate. It was ugly and ridiculous. The "surprise" wasn't a surprise at that point, we were all VERY disappointed, and late getting to work. :("
