"We were given a table in the front of the resturant where there was heavy traffic. The waiter must have been new as it did not reach a standard that you would expect at resturant of this reputation. We have eaten here several times and this is the first time we have walked away disappointed."

"The assistant manager, Wiam Battah, came by our table twice to make sure our anniversary celebration met our expectations. We had eaten at this location on numerous times and can always count on Mr. Battah to be attentive to our needs. Our waiter, Shane, was also very professional - allowing us time to enjoy our evening but always close by to insure our needs were promptly met.
We will be bringing friends in May to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary because we know Mr. Battah and the wait staff will make it a special occasion for them."

"This has nothing to do with the restaurant, but I wish it would. Too bad they don't have a dress code. Nothing worse than dining in a fine place like this and some guy comes in with plaid shorts on! In the past I've seen t-shirts and shorts, thongs on men's feet....just NOT what you'd expect in what I've always believed was a classy place. However, in today's American social culture, I guess looking like a slob is politically correct. Otherwise, we love it!!!"

"I must say I was expecting expensive (it is) but I was surprised at how good the food and service was. Family in the area had said Ruth's is where they go when they need a treat and I can see why. The food is on the rich side and lots of butter is used, but to great effect. Our steaks (and seafood) really were perfect. The shoestring fries were hands-down the best I've ever had. Only out asparagus was undercooked ever so slightly. The service was friendly and very professional. I highly recommend."

"We make an annual family dinner event here for my Mom's birthday. The food is always great, without exception. This particular night was a bit busy, and the service was slightly slower than usual, having to flag down someone on occasion, and experiencing longer pauses in our dining experience than needed. Our server was quite pleasant and professional, however, seemed to be stretched a bit thin. This has happened to us at this location in the past also, seeming sometimes to be understaffed. This has not occurred at the downtown location. At this price point, I would like service to be more reliable."

"We booked our table through OpenTable with a comment that my wife and I were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Asst. Manager and waitstaff with congrats on our anniversary. Our seat with the water view was just as we requested via our Open Table reservation. Jason, our waiter, was exceptional...attentive to everything without being intrusive. My petite filet (8oz) was superb as was my wife's NY strip steak. The salads and sides were also excellent. The wine list was very good, including the wine by the glass selections, which we chose. The management presented us with a complimentary desert selection (a trio) A totally enjoyable dining experience. Will be back sooner than our 40th anniversary"

"We've been to many Ruth Chris Steak Houses over the years & havent visited this one in some time. They easily accomodated our change in reservation, & request for a booth. As expected food was great from start to finish with new seasonal vegetable soup, lobster, ribeyes, and desserts. Only negative-a diner with allergies couldn't enjoy any fried foods (fries, onion rings, etc), as all are cooked in same fryer with shellfish. They graciously comped a dessert for him. Unusual that a chain of this caliber doesnt have separate fryers as Capital Grille, Outback & even McDonalds, Burger King, do provide a safe and separate frying environment. Certainly frustrating experience when paying $100 per diner. Hopefully they'll rethink that."

"Our visit was on a Sunday a few days after Valentine's Day. It was quite croweded. We weren't that hungry so we ordered a main dish and one side to share. My son just had dessert. The food delivery was slow, probably due to the crowd. However, on a positive note, this restaurant has a roaming magician on Sunday nights. He was great and very entertaining for my soon to be 11-year old. We even called him back to the table for an encore. The entertainment saved my experience."
