"Jason our server was good and knowledgeable, although he did forget our wine. We all know that the prices here are inflated, but I was embarrassed taking clients here. The asparagus was under cooked for one which should be culinary school 101. The worst was my $50 filet. While it was tender, the flavor of the meat left a lot to be desired. I have had a significantly better steak at Texas Roadhouse for $15."

"We were recently away on holidays and ate at some other Ruth Chris' and the cheesecake they serve in Tennessee is unique to Tennessee and it is excellent. Ruth Chris has no surprises, you know what you are going to get and the service is always good, Nashville is no different. The cheesecake is a standout."

"This was a bit of a dissapointment. The waiter was quite seasoned and had a professional air about him but he was very inattentive. For example, it took almost 40 minutes after our coffee was cleared to get the check. The steak was great. The sides were good."

"I suppose we expected a lot given Ruth's Chris reputation. Sadly they just didn't deliver on that. The server we had was quite poor, making for a long and fairly frustrating evening. The steaks were surprisingly mediocre. Honestly we have had significantly better at a few of our local nice steak places at a substantially lower cost. The wine list was almost insulting in its markups compared to other restaurants, and amazingly they had run out of their featured wine, which was the closest thing to reasonae price. The one thing that saved the evening was the vegetarian option of 3 side dishes. The one vegetarian in our group was extremely happy with her dinner, which is amazing for a steak place to deliver."

"Cocktails were good, though the restaurant and bar were both startlingly dead. Was disappointed at the lack of escargot, though now I know to call ahead and make the request a few weeks out. The steaks were good... Possibly slightly over-cooked, but not enough to get crazy about. The ambiance was nice but, again, deafeningly quiet (understandable, as it was Sunday). Our server was fantastic, and the creme brûlée was perfect. Overall, not the best in town, but certainly not the worst."

"There wasn't enough room between tables because another customers' chair was out too far. A server walked by while I was looking at the menu, hit the menu and pushed my water glass over in my lap. He didn't even apologize. The only thing the staff did was give me napkins. I was soaked! Then our drink order wasn't correct and the waitress said she would drink the wrong one unless we wanted to try it. We tried it but said we wanted our original order. We were charged for both!! Then our entree order wasn't correct either. We were told this is a premier Ruth's Chris. We were out of town. Our local Ruth's Chris is far superior!"

It was quite disappointing that a restaurant with an otherwise good reputation would not be able to anticipate its reservation and table-turnover schedule for a holiday like this. Food was acceptable, service was ok. Generous with table bread, which was extremely hot (seemed to be freshly prepared)."
