Bobby Van's Grill is located directly accross from the New York Stock Exchange on Broad Street.
The Vault dining room on the lower level was once J.P. Morgan & Co.'s original bank vault, which was installed by Remington & Sherman Co. in 1902. The Vault Bar's elongated room is lined with vault doors, two of which showcase Bobby Van's extensive Wine Room. The 22-foot wood paneled bar boasts a large selection of spirits and wines by the glass which you can also enjoy at one of the rich tapestry-covered banquettes.
In the center of the room is the impressive six-foot circular main vault entrance where you can dine on entrees such as our 12oz prime beef burgers, juicy steak wraps, Maine lobster rolls, jumbo crab BLTs, specialty salads, and of course our famous steaks!
"It was such a treat to eat in JP Morgans vault. Thinking about the history of the place and getting to see the amazing display of vault doors added greatly to the experience. The food was amazing; I had the petite filet and my two friends split the salmon. What a great time in NYC!!!"

"Really good old school steak house. Service was great! And not too busy on a Friday because all the suits on Wall Street went home! 1/2 price wine on a Friday!!"

"Service was great, food was even better. I had the chili and my husband had the petite filet mignon. The steak was so tender, we could actually cut it with a fork! The chili was on the menu online when I checked, but not on the dinner menu at the restaurant. When I asked the waiter he assured me it would not be a problem. I also noticed people having burgers which were not on the menu. The beer was nice and cold too. The staff is very friendly and accomadating."

"Burgers still very good - some wait staff still clealy rejects from upstairs main dining room.
Same waitress as my last vist once again smiling away while bringing us what we didn't order. Asked for Swiss cheese on burger - brought American. Asked for salad instead of fries brought onion rings.
Enjoy the food just lower your service expectations."

"I invited business guests and reserved online. Unfortunately I was made aware that the Grill was closed because of a private event. the management was very helpful and provided proactively a very good alternative solution"

"The calamari with sweet and spicy sauce is to die for!!!! I had a great plate of lamb chops. The portions here are a decent size so definitely go hungry or prepare to take a doggie bag. The price may seem a little high but the quality and portion size make up for it. I promise!!!"

"We actually felt like they forgot our order and had to send a busboy to find our waitress. The bank vault is always interesting but it was incredibly noisy."

"My girlfriend and I came to the city from Philadelphia to celebrate her birthday. With my girlfriend having to be very picky when it comes to food, Bobby Van's Grill offered the perfect Restuarant Week menu. Service was fast, friendly, and attentative which made for a good flow to the evening. I booked the reservation through my Open Table app and even added in the notes that it was my girlfriend birthday and had requested special seating. Although my request for seating in the vault was not honored, the restaurant did bring her a nice slice of cake with a candle complements of the house. It was the perfect touch to a great evening, it actually bought tears to her eyes. I truly appreciate the gesture and will definitely come again."

"Bobby Van's Grill continues to be a neighborhood staple. But the filet mignon chili (always a delicious choice) seemed to be watered down and smaller than previous experience. Hope this was a one time event."

"This is a restaurant that you go to after work, and don't mind taking your time. The servers took their time bringing our food in between courses, but it was definitely worth the wait. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!"

"Went to Bobby Vans to take advantage of NYC restaurant week. The menu was well worth the special price and the quality was very good. We were fortunate to go on Friday which also features 1/2 price bottles of wine. The wine list is tremendous in all price ranges. I was hesitant because of recent poor reviews but those folks must have hit an off night. I will certainly go back."

"This was the second restaurant of the group that I visited and I must say it was way better than the Bobby Van's on Times Square. It's basically a place that people go to have lunch and/or dinner after work. Plus, it has a great bar downstairs for happy hours. That makes it a very good place for groups of work colleagues go to. Said that, the place has decent food, the steaks were cooked real nice. The only problem that I had was the service, similar to their Times Square restaurant, they are not very attentive, you almost have to beg to get your glass of water reffiled."
