Morso is a culmination of a life in food and a passion for culinary excellence. Thirty years ago Pino Luongo, brought the then unfamiliar flavors and culture of authentic Tuscan cooking to New York City. "Morso is a real pleasure to have in the East 50s. Chef Pino Luongo presides with characteristic Italian charm and culinary finesse. The fare ranges from simple pasta entrees to more adventuresome entrees. The wine list is extensive and appropriately price. And the decor is reminiscent of an Italian movie from the "La Dolce Vita" era. Morso is so much better than the usual so-so midtown Italian ristorante. But don't take my word for it. Go there and enjoy!"
