The restaurant’s menu focuses on simple preparations of southern-inspired favorites including fried oysters, Andouille tater tots, and pork belly. Severed as shareable, small plates, the food is friendly, approachable and full of flavor.
A comfortable spot for dinner for two or a fun place for a group of friends to meet, Tivoli & Lee has the neighborhood feel of a great bar with the best of regional dining.
The kitchen at Tivoli & Lee is under the direction of new talent Chef Mike Nirenberg, who previously worked at The Delachaise, Restaurant Patois before going on to lead the kitchen at Oak in Uptown New Orleans.
"Food was fresh and local not the typical meat and potatoes it was exact antithesis of a chain restaurant .. Very refreshing. And I liked the fact that small portions were offered made it a plus"

"My Dining Companion and I stopped in for a late lunch one Saturday. There weren't many people there but we were attended to just fine. We both had a bloody mary from the bloody mary bar which was great. The bar was set up so you could make your own with any and all of the ingredients there from pickled veg to bacon and cheese. Very cool. $7 for one or $15 for all you can drink.
For food we had the chicken and waffle appetizer. I had the lamb burger and my DC had the shrimp and grits. Both entrees were quite good and quite filling. I'm hoping in the fall their brunch hours start about 9am during home Saints game as noon because it's a great location and easy walk to the Dome."

"First off....food was great! It just took forever to get to our table and my husband's food never got there at all. Plus I have two young kids...so at least continued water service, mimosas, and attention would have been helpful."

"We made reservations at this new restaurant and were very pleased with our choice.
The food was delicious, staff knowledgable and friendly. the manager sat down and chatted with us about our experience as well. We recommend this restaurant as a must try. Be sure to check out the Bloody Mary bar and the fried chicken appetizer for brunch. Great for kids as well. The kids had many choices off the regular menu that were served with their kid friendly instructions.
We look forward to returning for dinner very soon."

"Food and service were great, particularly the brussel sprout appetizer which our whole group loved. Four of us went for a business lunch, and though the restaurant was only half full it was very loud with the acoustics, but it wasn't like we could hear specifics of other peoples' conversations or vice versa. Service and ambiance was good and free valet parking was very convenient."

"This restaurant is in a quieter area on Lee Circle but is definitely worth seeking out! We would travel any distance just for the to-die-for Brussels Sprouts appetizer! Service was wonderful! Menu was not extensive but food was fantastic and we will definitely return on our next visit to New Orleans! One of us is a vegetarian and she was VERY pleased with her meal! She's still raving about the Brussels Sprouts appetizer and the Brussels Salad. Sort of took a chance on this place and are SO glad we did!"

"My wife and I tried Tivoli & Lee for the first time this past weekend and had a fantastic dinner. One of the biggest reasons we wanted to try it out was because one of our favorite mixologists (Steve Y)was working there and makes some of the best cocktails in the city. As expected, our cocktails were amazing. The menu was impressive...some of the favorites that we ordered were the Andoui Tots, Dumplings (absolute favorite), Fried Brussel Sprouts (and i normally don't like brussel sprouts), and the Chicken entree. The service was very prompt and friendly as well (had previously read reviews about slow service but looks like they worked that out since). We'll definitely be back!"

"I was able to try T&L in its first week of opening. Typically, restaurants are working out their kinks and finding their groove in the first week. Not T&L. From the kitchen and timing, to the staff and service, T&L had all the makings of a seasoned restaurant and team of people who seemed as if they had been working together for some time.
First off, Andouille Tater Tots?! Yes, a tator tot with Andouille sausage in it. A word comes to mind: addiction. So good. I think we had 3 plates. Then we moved to jump lump crab, fried oysters, ricotta dumplings with kale, pork belly sliders(drool). For a main, I had the crispy pork belly with Brussels sprouts - never had sprouts like this before. The meal, the food, service - excellent. Must go."

"The sliders were great. The polenta was outstanding. The fried brussels sprouts weren't exactly what was expected, but tasty nonetheless. Even the braised greens were delicious.
The vanilla bean dessert was less than stellar, though. Too much espresso, not enough vanilla.
A very enjoyable evening. Will be back."

"The food was great, presented well, and the staff fun and attentive. Great wine recommendation from the waiter and the food came out quickly. Would definitely return if I was around Lee's Circle. Oh and the view is just outstanding."
