"Every visit to the Melting Pot is great. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they made sure to recognize it in such a special way. Our server Ben was personable and added a lot to the experience. Patty is usually our server, who is also fabulous. We save this experience for any time we have something to celebrate. "I have always hestitated trying this restaurant but my "older" son likes it and this is where we went for his birthday - nine of us. Perfect and fun place. Not sure I would make this an everyday dining venture - but the service was superb, the food was actually not only fun but really good. It was enjoyed by all - and I would not hesitate to return - perhaps even for cheese and dessert and drinks. With several other larger parties - it was a little - actually alot noisy - but I suppose it added to the flavor of the place."

"We love fondue, and have tried to find other places that aren't a chain to see if they are better at doing fondue. Let's just put it this way, i haven't found one i have loved more because the melting pot is consistent. We are vegetarian and have done the full course meals before, but really we just go there for the cheese and chocolate, and make a fun meal out of it. Salads too, if we're feeling kinda guilty. Always great! (Wisconsin Trio is my favorite)"

"I've been to the Melting Pot a few times with my girlfriend and we always have a great time. We usually get the same thing every time, but this time we decided to switch up our entree and dessert, going with the surf & turf, and the snickers for dessert, and they were excellent. Whenever a friend needs an idea for a special occasion, we always recommend the Melting Pot.
Also, Patty was our waitress and she was wonderful. The snickers dessert was her suggestion and it was excellent."

"I have been there a few times; always a great experience. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive (but she was sweet and very helpful i'm sure she just had a lot of tables) but other waiters/waitresses were extremely helpful when we needed replacements or to find our waitress. The food was fantastic as always and how can you go wrong with dipping anything in chocolate!"

"I have been here at least 10 times, and I just love it! Not only was our waiter great, but the manager and assistants were also very friendly and helpful. The new menus for 2013 are great and now a couple can pick their individual entrees in the 4 course meal deal. They didn't have my usual drink on the menu, but they made it for me anyway. I wish I could come here once a month!"

"We celebrated a belated birthday with our first visit to Melting Pot. Gluten Free options were clearly marked for my spouse and the wait staff inquired about other food allergies before taking our order. We opted for the Four Course meal, as recommended for first-time diners, and we were not disappointed by anything. Bringing out the courses was timed very well, giving us time to enjoy the meal in our semi-private booth. Our waiter, John, was friendly and attentive, without hovering. Wine choices were plentiful, and I appreciated the smaller 5 oz. option. I was surprised with a lit birthday candle on the dessert plate--thanks to John, who remembered our brief comment at the beginning of our meal. A wonderful special occasion night!"

"The food was amazing and our server was quite helpful since it was our first time dining here. From appetizer to dessert I have no complaints the amount of food you are given to eat is never ending, definitely come hungry! Upon leaving from a great dinner I found three in tact marshmallows stuck on my windshield. My car was diagonal from the dumpster so it's safe to say a worker whom was taking out the trash thought it would be funny to place marshmallows on my car. The host was extremely apologetic and even found some glass wipes for me he handled it very well. I probably will not choose this location simply due to the fact that my car was vandalized."

"We had a reservation for 8, but 2 people couldn't make it, so there were 6 of us. We were shown to a side room with 3 tables: ours, a very large table, and one slightly larger than ours. We were having a lovely time until a 2nd group of 10 women arrived and sat at the table next to us. They were VERY loud! That was the end of any conversation we tried to have during the meal. Both our table and the other table in the room spoke to the manager about the noise but I only heard the loud table shoosh each other once. I left our room to use the restroom and the rest of the restaurant was very quiet. Lovely ambience! The meal was fabulous! I don't think I would go back with a large group however if that's where you're stuck!"

"Went for my wife's birthday and the staff was more than accommodating. I am not typically a fan of cooking my own meal and being charged for it, but the new menu is much better. The seating that we were given (in our own corner called Lovers' Lane) was romantic and allowed for a feeling of solitude. The service from the host, to the server, to the bus boy was fantastic. We tried the "Food Fanatic" special, with Old Bay-seasoned shrimp (a bit on the spicy side for kids), garlic chicken and steak with a spice rub. Very flavorful. Cheese course fondue was a major hit, cheddar and lager with bacon. Salads were excellent as well, and dessert fondues were to-die-for. We love this place!"

"Over rated and over priced for do it yourself dinner. I tried this spot because of all the hype and Main Line restaurant week, but the bill was $94 and not worth it. I'm not a cheap diner either, I normally go to Ruth Chris and Parc but wanted to try something different and thought I would get a deal, good food and nice portion size. NOPE! I guess we paid for the experience, the great artichoke cheese dip and okay meat. If you into boiling your 10-12 little pieces of meat in broth and dipping them in sauce go here but if you want great food (you can't cook for yourself) great service and good portions I suggest you go to Ruth Chris steak house or Parc (french restaurant downtown philly)you will be paying the same price for better food."

"We went to Melting Pot for our 7 year anniversary and all I can say is we both left happy and full. We were seated in a small booth in the back and my boyfriend thought I had requested it (we've had issues at other restaurants in regard to seating). The little booth was perfect for us - quiet, alone and not getting bumped into by everyone in the restaurant (looking at you Nectar!). We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back."
