Zurlo's Bistro Italiano brings Omaha a classic & innovative Italian restaurant that's a favorite with local clientele. The bistro's name originates from the head chef Enzo Zurlo. First born American in his family, Enzo was born and raised in New York in the restaurant industry -- where his passion & love for food was developed. Keeping his Italian heritage close, Chef Zurlo offers guests a palate-pleasing menu with presentations that stimulate eyes while making taste buds tingle. The entrée choices change seasonally and use many locally grown foods. Zurlo's is a locally owned and operated establishment.
"Happy to see that this restaurant is now open on Sunday night. Group of five of us went on Sunday -- everyone enjoyed their meal -- chicken parmesan, shrimp in Vodka sauce, limoncello shrimp, lasagna, gnocci, all delicious. Excellent service."

"With reservation for group of 10, seated 15 min late (understandable). Ordered, but then waited 75 min (!) for food to arrive. Good food but intolerable delay with minimal service during wait. Ruined Mother’s Day."

"We have been to Zurlo's Bistro several times in the past. This time we were there on a Friday night. The food and service were good but not outstanding. While not the fault of the restaurant, we were surprised by the appearance of many customers that night. Too many baseball hats, tee shirts, bermuda shorts etc.. It was not what I would expect to experience in an supposely upscale resaturant. More appropriate for a pizza joint."

"This was one of the best dining experiences I've had recently. Our server was lovely and made really fantastic recommendations. Our dishes were wonderful, cooked perfectly, and were very reasonably-priced for being of such high quality."

"Delicious beef tenderloins, cooked to perfection. Fabulous creme brulee - one of the best we've had, served with melted dark chocolate and whipped cream. Top had a very mild cinnamon flavor. Chef owner enjoys talking to the guests."

"When for lunch with 3 friends. Two had great looking salads. Two had the Salmon Bruschetta which was great. I recommend for lunch with soup or appetizer for dinner"

"We have been to Zurlo's several times and have found the food, service etc. very good. While the food and service was again excellent, the noise was over the top. Zurlo's has a very busy bar area and we are used to that noise. However, this time they had a singer and piano player that I thought were completely out of place in this small restaurant. The singer was extremely loud and made it difficult to carry on a conversation.I am not sure what management's objective is with the music scene, but this type is not appropriate for Zurlo's. I should mention the music is on Thursday night only."

"Food was outstanding, service very good! Loved that they took a reservation. The atmosphere, disruptive. It was loud and we sat next to a green wall that was glaring."

"My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time and meal at Zurlo's the other night, and who would have known it was right down the street? The lasagne was amazing and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his shrimp with lemoncello sauce. The wine list was also impressive and I cannot deny there are many dishes I look forward to trying in the future. Thank you again for an excellent experience and a wonderful dinner."

"This was our first visit and we enjoyed every aspect of Zurlo's. All the 2-tops are along one wall and as the crowd allowed they sat couples with an empty table between them, which was a nice touch. Also the tables are not as close as some restaurants, so you can move when you stand up. My husband and I both had pizza and it was perfect, thin crust, fresh toppings. The wines by the glass seemed impressive. We didn't sit in the bar but I would definately go back to sit in the bar area, or in the summer sit on the nice looking patio."

"The last 3 times we have been there, the food was excellent. The prices are reasonable.I find the service a bit removed for being attentive. With the bar on the other side of the restaurant, the noise is usually a bit too loud for quiet dining. Having said that,no question the food trumps all that."

"Zurlo's had very good food but I thought the prices were too high for the ambiance. Bravo has a much better interior ambiance with the same prices and food quality."

"Our server was very accomodating, we had Groupons to use and she "stretched" the rules for us so that we could use two coupons at our table. She was very attentive to our needs. The food was great, fresh and an appropriate portion for the price. We listened to our freind's band who played acoustic versions of their music. It was a great night."
