Circle Brunch - The Breakers
The Breakers celebrated Sunday Brunch has been a special tradition for more than 25 years. The elaborate brunch is served in the comfortable elegance of The Circle, amid intricate hand-painted ceilings and splendid ocean views. Enjoy the finest and freshest ingredients and unlimited Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Select from traditional breakfast favorites such as Belgian waffles, Eggs Benedict, fresh baked goods, breakfast meats, potatoes, fresh fruit and a made-to-order omelet station; a variety of chef-attended stations serving fresh pasta, fish, baby lamp chops, carved ham and beef tenderloin; fresh salads, imported cheeses, and pâtés are also available.
A highlight of the sumptuous menu is a raw bar that includes Alaskan king crab legs, Maine lobster, shrimp, and clams on the half shell, a sushi bar, a domestic caviar station and a smoked fish display. From $90 per person (plus service charge and tax).

"Visiting the Breakers has been on my bucket list since I drove by it as a child. So we opted to spend a couple of nights there in a junior suite and do the Sunday brunch in the Circle restaurant. The Circle is an elegant, large room with tables well spaced. I felt transported back to the guilded age. Painted ceilings, beautiful chandeliers. The buffet was great and the endless champagne and lobster tails pretty much did it for me...I loved the hotel, the friendly staff, and the best shower gel ever (brought extra home from hotel shop). I look forward to another special occasion to return."

"The experience at the breakers was a memorable one. I brought my girlfriend there for her birthday and we both had a great time. The brunch was great for several reasons. Yes the service was amazing, the ambiance was spectacular but the food was second to none. There was a wide variety of food that you might not experience at a traditional breakfast spot. There was caviar, lamb, chicken, lobster, crab, shrimp, eggs benedict, fruit, pastries, cakes.....etc. I would recommend the brunch to whoever is considering it. I know I will be going there on more special occasions.

"The price might scare you away, but it is well worth it. With the fabulous selection of everything from lobster tail to lamb chops to an exquisite dessert Selection, there is something there to please everyone's palate. "We had been to the Breakers for Brunch years ago and decided to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday there this year. The Breakers is an exceptional hotel with charm and elegance that embrace you. The brunch lived up to all of our expectations. The service was super-our waitress made certain that we had plenty of water, orange juice, mimosas,bloody marys or coffee. Our table was frequently cleaned and the napkins folded each time we moved from the table. There is a harpist who came to play Happy Birthday and an additional song tableside for my mother. He was excellent and my mother greatly appreciated this nice touch. The food was delicious, plentiful, perfectly heated or chilled as the item indicated and readily available-excellent!"

"The brunch was very nice. The staff was not very helpful and service was slow when requested. I made a plate of lobster, crab, etc and forgot the hot butter. When I returned with my butter my plate was missing becuase they thought I was done. I had to make another plate and told the waitress of the incident and asked that she bring me another seafood fork and it took her 20 minutes to return. "How do you beat The Breakers on a Sunday afternoon. Exceptional buffets and killer Bloody Marys (although the spices were inconsistent among the three I managed to down). The roaming harpist was an interesting twist too. "Welcome to the Jungle" on a harp - really different (just kidding, he didn't play that). The server was excellent. It is interesting, though, that an automatic 20% gratuity is added to the check. Then again, it IS The Breakers."
