"We were happy with our Friday night dinner. It was a busy place but the service didn't suffer. Drinks, food and service were all good. The filet was delicious and the cobb salad was okay, but not great. We will return and try more offerings."

"Seated promptly, terrific service. Ordered both the grilled asparagus and artichokes for starters--and both were fantastic. The rest of the meal was just as good. It's very San Clemente, and has the town's relaxed, surfer vibe. Great for locals and tourists alike!"

"Right in middle of downtown San Clemente. Many shops and other restaurants nearby. Food was good, service was so-so. Gave us the bill without asking if we wanted anything else, server hard to flag down. Generous portions."

"Food was not very good- had shrimp and lobster tacos- shrimp must have been little tiny frozen ones - certainly expect fresh when you're in a beach front community....never tasted lobster- tacos were so spicy I could hardly eat them...we had been there years ago and it was good- big disappointment- won't go back"

"Our recent experience was a not so good. The servers& food were excellent.
However,the hostess was not very accommodating. We asked if we could sit at a table so we could sit next to each other. Although there were open tables that could accommodate our request, the hostess refused to alter from the table that she had selected-if you've been there, you would know how small the tables are - so we asked if we could sit outside.
Unfortunately the noise level just killed the atmosphere. A large party was dining while their friends stood over, talking very loud while waiting for their table. Adding to the noise was a barking dog a few tables away.
To add further insult - the hostess seats a couple at table for 4 - They sat next to each other."

"My wife's fish arrived very cold on the inside, obviously freshly thawed. Apologies from waitress, manager, replaced the dish with different dish requested by my wife. Removed first charge and added second charge. No perks in apology--free drink, dessert, etc. Business as usual."

"We had a great dinner here. Five of us. We ordered a sampling of cold and hot appetizers and salads. The cold items were super fresh, intersting and all around delicious. We especially enjoyed the Beet Salad and Ahi Stack. The sweet potato fries were a winner!!!!"

"I read teh reviews and decided to try this place out. So glad I did. We had a great waiter, warm and friendly, very helpful in sorting through the diverse menu. So many things to choose from!! We settled on the Ahi TarTare for an app. I had the pork chop and my friend had the ribs. It was delicious. Big portions, but I didn't mind taking home the leftovers! Great cosmos too!"

"We were in from out of town and were searching on open table for a place with a reservation open on a Friday night that could accommodate a baby. Found BeachFire and made the reservation. We arrived early and were greeted with smiles. Seated very quickly. We had awesome service right from the get go. The apps and beers were great and then the dinners were awesome! Two people in our party ordered a pasta dish and they were pleased but not blown away. The ginger pepper ahi tuna was amazing though! The live music started at 9pm and although we love live music it was a reason for us to skedaddle because of the baby. It was really really loud. And she's generally able to sleep through anything, but not this time. We would definitely go back!"
