Since 1997, Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine has become well-known for offering much more than traditional "Tex-Mex" fare. Tempting offerings include items as varied as grilled snapper, enchiladas verdes, pozole soup, hand made flautas and tacos al pastor. For margaritas by a cool fountain, a relaxing dinner on the terrace or appetizers in our hacienda-style dining rooms, Paloma Blanca invites you to enjoy our autentico brand of Mexican cuisine and hospitality.
"The chili relleno, traditional style, was excellent and would order same again. Sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather with cold beer, fresh chips and 2 different kinds of salsas. Very good!"

"A bit noisy but we had asked for a table where we could talk and, for the most part, we could hear each other. The food was good and the service excellent. We will all go back."

"First time there, it was just excellent. (We returned a week later and service was not quite as wonderful, but not really poor, just about average, mixed so far.) The food is fresh and presentation is great. We will definitely return. We love the outdoors area."

"The mole(MO-lay)is delicious over enchies or over a chicken breast for dieters.(By the way, if you've never tried it, ask for a little sample to taste; they are happy to accommodate.) From the cheese and/or chicken enchies smothered in chile verde to the unique (unbreaded & baked not fried, so very healthy) vegetarian relleno smothered in salsa fresca, the food is fresh and delicious. The outdoors seating area is lovely. We have not eaten inside, but the decor looks very nice, although it can be somewhat noisy at popular times."

"I have high expectations of Mexican food in San Antonio, Tx. First, i was given 2 types of salsa with no explanation for which was mild and which was spicy. I ordered soup and fajitas for dinner. The fajitas came out before my soup and yet they were COLD!!! The beef was chewy and the chicken was dry. My bowl of barracho beans was almost all liquid. There might have been 10 beans in it. I was not impressed. I made the reservation the night before and time choices were limited which led me to believe the place was popular and packed. The restaurant wan not even half full. I'll try somewhere different next time."

"We came in at 5:00 p.m. and told the hostess that we'd be out by 5:30. She insisted on seating us next to a family with young children. When I requested any table (and there were many) away from the family, she said that this wasn't possible. Grr."

"Diego was a great waiter! Friendly service and had great recommendations, extremely attentive. Good food, I am very picky with Mexican food because its very hard to get authentic Mexican food. This was pretty good!"

"Great place to have lunch - not so great for conducting a business meeting over lunch due to the close proximity to the other tables and the dining area being very loud as a result."

"The food was no where near that quality you can find at one of the hundreds of hole-in-the wall Mexican restaurants in San Antonio. The Migas were tasteless and the beans were cold. The puntas de puerco were terrible in a sauce that had separated. We were with friends from CT; they do not know any difference in what Mexican food should taste like. However, the atmosphere was lovely with the sun shining on our outdoor table. A perfect setting but the food - yuk!"

"This is my second visit to this establishment. My first visit was enjoyable and the food was very good. However, on this occasion I was not impressed with the dinner I ordered. Also, one of the other diners at my table was also disappointed in their meal."

"We came to Paloma Blanca for lunch and a board meeting. Everyone's food was very good, as were the margaritas. Howevwr, even though the dining room was only about half full the noise level made it difficult to conduct our business. I always enjoy my visits to Paloma Blanca with one or two guests, but I will schedule board meetings elsewhere."

"The food and service were very good. However, the resturant was so noisey that we could not hold a conversation. I do not think we will dine there again."
