"Great place for some wines, drinks, and snacks with friends. We enjoyed sitting by the antipasto bar and chatting with Chef Elliot. While our entrees were good, our appetizers were phenomenal. We loved the oysters, the prosciutto and the asparagus. Service was perfectly paced and attentive. On our next visit to Pittsburgh, we will be stopping by the Common Plea again."

"We waited for 15 min after being seated to even be talked to by our waiter. The decor is dark and in need of a good cleaning. The food was ok but for the price, we could've gone to a much more inviting restaurant. Overall I don't think I will go back as there are so many other places downtown to go that are clean, up to date and have a bigger selection on their menus. The only person we came in contact with that had any personality was the bartender. He was nice but didn't mix a great drink."

"Food was incredible and our service was excellent.The manager greeted each customer and even the chef followed upto ensure our meals were as expected.The restaurant is a gem in Pittsburgh and although a littleoff the path, well worth the trip."
