"I was disappointed at the service. You would think Beverly Hills would have 5 star service but that's not the case. The food was good but very over priced. Because a broker was in town and this is his favorite place, I decided to book and try. The Japanese BBQ is fun and high energy but it took awhile to get the food. Overall I think it's a place to go once to experience it but definitely won't be going back. The black sesame ice cream was the best part of dinner."

"Unusually poor service tonight. Our waitress was fine, but the hostess took a long time to seat us, even though our table was ready. Then she seated a party that arrived after us first. Finally, the kitchen was backed up, so our food came out in pieces....a little irritating."

"Experience was amazing. Took my date here and we had a blast. Even though we chose a day that was Happy Hour, which means an influx of EVERYBODY, the host was very accommodating and sat us very quickly and service was not halted. Even with a party of 15 behind us, there was no problem at all. Food was delicious like always and it was overall a great experience."

"The overall restaurant was extremely noisy but we were lucky to be in a spot that was private and secluded from the main dining area, so we could speak and hear each other in normal voice. It would have been impossible to do so in the main dining area and I would probably been disappointed. I guess it was because of the birthday ocassion as the other table in that area was also a birthday party. The food and service were both great. Although the portions were quite small, we were able to taste a variety of items. My only disappointment was that on the OpenTable reservation, I specified a birthday candle on my friend's dessert, but this important detail was overlooked. I suggest anybody confirm before arriving for similar requests."

"Overall, my experience at Gyu-Kaku was great. My only problem was the timing in which my group was seated. We had a dinner reservation for 10:15pm, all members of the party were in present, but we did not get seated until 10:43pm. I understand Saturday's are pretty busy, but you would think with a reservation there wouldn't be that much of a wait."

"Gyu-Kaku really made my girlfriend and me feel real special on our 6-month anniversary.
an excellent choice for any occasion, really. i had glanced at the lunch/happy-hour menu and cannot wait to go back.
the skirt steak and the tuna poke are some of the tastiest items i have had at any place.
the service at the Gyu-Kaku in beverly hills is exceptionally amazing. they are super attentive without being pushy at all. everyone in Gyu-Kaku's crew is very knowledgeable and polite.
i will definitely be dining here again."

"Pretty awesome place. My friends and I hit the Happy Hour. Really amazing deals. We had a few different meats and about 5 or 6 different appetizers. Paid that with 3 drinks each and the bill only came out to $50 bucks!!! You can't beat that. We were there for an hour and a half. Great fun for groups.

"The wait time for our food was so long. We were served the meat first (this was served to us 15 minutes after ordering) but the rice that we ordered did not come until after 25 minutes, the kimchee after 30 minutes, and the drinks, you would think they would serve you the drinks first, but it did not come not until after 35 minutes! The Happy HOur was over before we swere half-way to finishing our drinks."

"The restaurant was amazing!! From the moment we stepped in the service was great. It was my husbands birthday so they gave us a private room in the back. The food was delicious and the experience of cooking your own food was great. We had a blast! I would go there again but for a special occasion because it is pricey. I had 8 guests and paid 500.00, definetly not an everyday thing, but worth every penny for a special occasion."

"I was disappointed with the service from the hostess. She wasn't very accommodating when it came to adding another person to our group. I understand the inability to add another person to the table, but she could have been more polite. Instead of saying "let me see if someone cancels and we can squeeze you in" i was told "well you should have made a reservation for six". Unprofessional and rude, and when I asked to speak to a manager a manager never came. Thankfully, we did eventually get sat, but that left a bad taste in my mouth!"

"I had the worst birthday experience ever. They were out of Lychee Shochu, my favoite drink and the reason I chose Gyu-Kaku for my birthday. I invited special guests and was extremely disappointed.

The last time I was there, I won a $50 giftcard and when I went to redeem it I was given the run around. Call this number, call this person, go to he restaurant. I still enjoy their food, but their service is extremely lacking."

"What a awesome place to go with your girlfriends, I would recommend valet parking however because I received a ticket on the street for park lol. But in the menu I would definitely have the Sho Chu Cocktail the Apple Flavor very good. All the food was so good but all the fish selections are very good and the best part is you get to cook it yourself. Fun deal you gotta go.And a bigger plus when its your birthday they give you a private room ya dig."

"Great for groups, couples, kids... it was a very enjoyable, unique and fun environment. For someone who has never been to a korean/japanese bbq restaurant, its a great place to take them to. Its casual but has great ambience. Where else lets you cook your own food?! Happy Hour is great, the prices are amazing. I will definately be going back soon."

"I def loved this place and would love to go back again to try different dishes. The environment the people .. the service was amazing i really loved their uniforms aswell.. the mojito had a little to much alcohol but other than that everything was really good."
