was uninspiring. We shared brisket, mashed potatos, bbq beans, and
corn bread. Our server claimed generous portions, but my aife and I
were both surprised at how small the portions were. And, it was all
cold. It just seemed like the food was very uninspired.

"the attendant was going to seat us nearly behind the band when there were LOTS of tables on the floor in front of the stage. I asked for a seat in front of stage and they gladly reseated us. We were there early and few tables were being used and I was very surprised that they were seating us where they tried. No problems once I asked. The wait staff was excellent!!"

"In the middle of the Nashville "honky-tonk" scene, this is a nice change of pace "blues" joint. Great location, food was very good, but the music was even better. If you're in Nashville and need a break from the country/western, BB Kings is a great alternative."

"Planned a big trip with my boyfriend we share the open table account. I was told that going to this restaurant was a must do if you are in Nashville so we did. The atmosphere was awesome the servers were nice but the food was not good. I had the chicken fried chicken with Mac and cheese it was very disappointing but we stayed because the music was good. I recommend going for drinks and music but don't eat there."

"We had a fantastic time at BB Kings. We were a group of 10 celebrating my husband's 70th birthday and he says it was his best birthday ever. The staff, especially our waitress Leah, were friendly, quick, and encouraged our celebratory mood. The band, led by Herschel Bailey, was terrific, and Herschel's special treatment of my husband really made the evening for all of us. We can't thank you enough for a great evening."

"We brought several employees from different areas of the country in for a training and chose BB King's as an activity for the group. The group consisted of various ages and backgrounds and all had a great time and enjoyed the evening. While the plan was to spend a little time at BB Kings and then move around to other venues a large majority of the group decided to spend the entire evening at BB Kings. Great experience."

"The Blues Band was superb! My husband had the catfish dinner that he thoroughly enjoyed. My daughter had the chicken fried chicken with mac n cheese, also superb. Not your ordinary mac n cheese. I had the cheese burger which was a disappointing basic frozen patty. I had hoped it would be fresh. The homemade chips were awesome though. Service was outstanding even with a full house. They didn't rush us out. We relaxed and listened to the band for as long as we wanted. We went back on Sunday for appetizers and more fabulous live music!"

"Don't bother making reservations because it is priority seating! Also, there is a cover charge that is inconsistent when it is implemented. My parents, sister, and I paid $5 each for the dinner show for which my reservation was made BEFORE that started. Absurd really, they need to find another way to pay the performers. My fiance arrived 5 min. before us and paid nothing. The food is overpriced, of fair quality, but my parents enjoyed the music. Our server was really wonderful, funny, and helpful, but after dealing with the rude hostess, personally, my night was ruined. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I definitely will not be coming back."

"Wife & two teen girls went to Nash for weekend getaway last summer. Got in Sunday eve & realized we were in the mid of the Country Music weekend. There were bands playin in the streets.Don't do Country, but loving Blues,I went into BB's Club. The band from Oakland,CA was more than awesome!! My wife doesn't dance, but my daughters loved dancing w/DAD!! Food was very good, my Gumbo had a little uncooked rice in it, still great. The girls still talk about how much fun we had & listen to the CD's. Fast forward to last weekend. My Bro in law just started working in Nash, so my youngest teen son & I took him to BB's. They raved about the Chick/Fried/Chick n Mac. They aren't Blues fans but loved the band. Stayed 5 hrs.Can't wait to return w/Family"

"The drink was good, food not so much, dry, flavor good tho. Enjoyed the Blues, but ATM out of order, so I used Debit Card instead of cash for tip. Tables and chairs are rickety. Older crowd, great ambiance with Band."

"My husband, cousin and I visited Nashville on an extended weekend. We decided to go to BB King's to hear a little music and grab a bite to eat. I'm so glad we did. The food was really good (slow, but good) and the live band was EXCELLENT. I would definitely go back and absolutely would recommend."

"The Ambience was great! Fantastic band and music! The service was satisfactory but not steller! I had the ribeye, which for $28 was so so! My fiance had the ribs wich were tender and tastey! It was St. Patrick's Day and not crouded! Over all experience was average for the cost!"

"WAY TOO LOUD!!! The place was cute and the food was decent, but the music was SO loud that we had to leave right after we were done eating. It was difficult to even hear the music properly because it sounded so distorted. Will not return for this reason."

"Went on Tuesday night for my moms 60th birthday. I will add that my parents were in town from Denver, Colorado. I will start with the pros, the music was fantastic.! Cameron our server was great. The food needs a lot of help. The meatloaf was mushy, imagine puréed meat formed in a patty with a bourbon glaze. The desserts should be cut from the menu. The peach cobbler consisted of canned peaches with brown sugar on top, no crust. The bread pudding was basically banana flavored cornbread. It was the worst bread pudding we ( all five of us) have ever had.
BB Kings can do much better and should taste ALL the dishes they serve to customers. Will never eat there again!"

"Really good atmosphere. Saw two different bands and both were equally fantastic. Had to wait a little while, but the table was phenomenal! My only concern was the cover charge. Online it said $5 before 9 or 10 and $10 afterwards. When I arrived, the girl said it was $15 for two people. This was 7:45. I handed her a $20. Not only did she over charge me, she kept my change. If she's that hard up for $5, by all means, just ask. Otherwise, it was a great night."

"We have always tried to stop in when we are in town. After the way we were treated last Saturday night we will rethink this in the future. Music is always great. The service well, we were treated very badly. I own a business in the service industry and you just don't treat customers that. The music is the best in town. I am not sure it is worth the abuse to hear it."

"The live band prohibited conversation due to background noise level. The food was mediocre at best. The barbecue sauce was very average, the pulled pork was overly smoked. Those in our group who had the salmon enjoyed it. Not the kind of place to take clients to, as we did on this trip. The band was very good, this would be the place to go if the music was your primary reason for being there."
