"We went to dinner on a Friday. It was a little busy but we were lead to our table right away. The decor needs some updating but overall it was clean. They had a great piano player which set ambiance and made up for the decor. The server was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Though I did not like that the servers could stand out in the open where the customers could see them. Overall I would definitely considered going back for the brunch."

"Service was awful. Middle aged woman seemed like she could care less about being there. Have given this place 3 tries and only once was the service good. Only were able to get our check after standing up and putting our coats on. The hostess came by to clear things off the table more than the waitress. They really need to beef up their waitstaff. Mostly older folks who really don't seem happy to be there. We won't go again, it's just not worth the price. It is expensive,the food isn't that good and the drinks are pricier than Boston."

"We went for Restaurant Week to try something new but in the end it just wasn't worth the expense. The RW menu was nice but we ordered off the regular menu because the pricing was the same. The antipasto for two was mostly veggies and very little meat for $16. My wife ordered pasta which she liked and I ordered a shrimp caesar which was plain tasting with croutons that could double as legos. Service was just ok even though there were only five tables in use. The booths seats need new padding. 5 Star pricing with 3 Star experience."

"Serafina is a great restaurant. We are becoming regulars and every meal is a pleasure. We recently had the Chicken Medallions with Mushrooms and Fusilli with Sweet Italian Sausage for dinner and each was outstanding. The ceasar salad was also well done and creative. I absolutely recommend this restaurant."

"My wife and I went there for the first time this Saturday. We ordered the special shrimp and scallops bruschetta, I had the special sirloin and my wife had the duck breast. The bruschetta was excellent, very tasty with heavy bread. My steak was cooked perfectly, juicy, the red wine reduction was excellent and the potatoes were nice as well. My wife's duck breast was sub-par. The skin was fatty and underdone. It was clear that the meat was not cooked skin side down. The sauce was OK but nothing special. We sill definitely go back but avoid the duck."

"Our group arrived and were promptly seated for our reservation. A nice variety of choices and specials were available. I had the seafood and pasta special (scallops and shrimp) which was very good. Everyone was very satisfied with the meal. The wait person was working hard unfortunately when the food was served she could only bring 2 plates at a time so we sat and waited until everyone was served ( a team concept would work better). Drinks were good and wine list was adaquate."

"We had a special meal at Serafina who did a great job of providing an atmosphere conducive to conversation and provided excellent food. We had a special which was a fusilli pasta with chicken. It was full of flavor and an excellent meal. We also had a similar dish with Italian sausage that was even better. For desert we had the apple crisp with ice cream which was also excellent. I strongly recommend."

"The service was terrible at this restaurant. The waitress did not ask if we wanted coffee with our dessert, and my wife had to call after her as she ran from our table. When she arrived with my wife's coffee, she was so quick to dart away that I couldn't request a coffee on my end. We also had a poorly worded coupon that, on its face, was good for a discount on the meal. The waitress was stubborn and refused to honor it. My wife and I are very easygoing and tip well, so for me to write a negative review about a restaurant, there really has to be an issue. The meal itself was OK but nothing to write home about."

"This was our first time eating at Serafina. It was Valentine's Day so it was a fixed menu and fixed price, $60 per person. At $30 per person I would have rated the food excellent but at twice that price the chef was not up to the challenge. The ambiance was disappointing because the hostess and wait staff did not dress appropriately for the occasion (they looked like they were prepared to serve pizza and spaghetti to families with kids). The only nice touch was a single roe at every table. Also, the live band turned out to be a piano player who was good but had a limited repertoire (one couple danced). In sum, this is a good place for casual weekend dining for groups but I would not recommend it for a couple celebrating a special occasion."

"Every thing about the restaraunt was excellent except for the service. Our waitress completely ignored us the entire meal to the point where we had to call the manager. The waitress then proceeded to argue with me and my date to the point where my date was crying. Not a good way to spend a Valentine's Day meal. Would recommend everything except for the service."
