"The pictures make it look bigger than it is. Hard to locate also. Primarily serves two condo towers on either side of it. Older crowd. Not as modern as I expected from the pictures. Large menu selection! Good wine also."

Review 4 for Joseph's On The Water
Overall Rating

"The open table feature was easy and efficient to use. The restaurant had great food and and our request of dining on the outdoor patio was accommodated which was wonderful. However it would have been nice to have known that the restaurant was apart of a retirement community. We were probably the youngest diners by at least 20-30 years."

Review 6 for Joseph's On The Water
Overall Rating
(Poor)
"Sorry to report our dining experience was far less than we'd expected. We chose Joseph's based on a friend's recommendation representing Joseph's as a "fine dining experience". Sadly, it is far less than that! While our waiter was attentive when first handling our order, he did not come back to our table to check on how we were doing. 3 of our 4 dishes were pastas; it would have been nice if he'd offered grated cheese after delivering them to the table. Unable to get his attention for more than 10 minutes we were 1/2 way through our meal when he finally did respond, delivering a small shaker of cheese as one might expect at a pizza joint. So much for freshly grated cheeze! My "broiled" salmon arrived "fried". Disappointing food & service."

Review 7 for Joseph's On The Water

"This restaurant is best suited for people in their very golden years. My husband is 69 and I am 58 but we felt like teenagers in this restaurant. The ambiance is tired and definitely makes you feel like you are in an assisted living place. Nothing wrong with that but if you like a little more energy, this is not the place."

Review 8 for Joseph's On The Water
Overall Rating
(Very Good)
"It was Christmas Day, so they were busy, and it was a bit hectic, and made the serving a little slow, but all in all, great food, huge menu, which we love, something for everyone, everything top notch, 3 of us had surf and turf, a 10 oz sirloin and a great 6 oz lobster tail, a little pricey, $49.95, but we were immediately asked if anyone wanted to switch the steak for there smaller fillet mignon...dinners were taking awhile after we all had appetizers, and we were all brought house salads on the house, a great touch...if you go ask for Johnny....Im sure he has been in the biz for 30 years, and giving his tables top notch service was all he was concerned with, it may take an extra minute or 2, to get him to your table, but he is worth it"
Special Features: good for groups, great for outdoor dining, notable wine list, romantic, special occasion, scenic view
