"We visited The Landing at 7 Central while vacationing in the Gloucester area. We found the restaurant quite by accident via internet search for local restaurants. What a pleasant surprise. We were served by two delightful waitresses. Ericka and a second server whose name we forgot (sadly). The food was fabulous. It was, overall, a great experience. We will definitely return on our next visit."

"The food was very good here and we were dining at an early hour 6 p.m. The back room near the patio was very warm and inviting with a fireplace. Overall a very pleasant experience."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Landing. Great menu. Wonderful fireplace and view of the river in a charming historic building in the center of scenic Manchester-by-the-Sea. Nice having candles on the table and bread/oil served right away. The Caesar dressing was very good, but salad was not evenly dressed. The Chicken Jessica was fabulous. So good we'd have a problem ordering anything else going forward. Amazing sauce! We'll be back."

"The food was excellent, service was fast, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted, not by just one person , but by three - a very welcoming atmosphere, we will be going there again soon!"

"We go to The Landing because we live in town and the food is good, the staff is excellent and the restaurant is lovely. Our last visit was to celebrate a friends birthday. It was somewhat hampered by a group with quite a few very loud children who I am sure disturbed not only our party but others closer to them. These things happen. It will not keep us from returning."
