The Lobby Lounge @ The Langham Hotel Pasadena
The Lobby Lounge features Langham's Signature Afternoon Tea served in an enchanting setting with floor-to-ceiling windows with picturesque garden views.
Traditional Tea is served Mon-Wed from 1-3pm & Thurs-Sat from 1-4pm, where guests can enjoy savory tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, fruit tarts, mousse torts & crème brûlées, along with a variety of the finest teas. Traditional Tea is $39/adult & $19.50/child. Royal Tea is also available for $59 & includes Kir Imperial champagne, strawberries with vanilla cream & a choice of Grand Marnier or Chambord.
Chocolate Tea is served Sun from 12-3pm, where guests can enjoy Traditional Tea with a chocolate twist. A grand chocolate fountain is the focal point, with surrounding chocolate sculptural art. Additional beverage choices include three selections of pure liquid chocolate & champagne. Chocolate Tea is $59/adult & $29.50/child. Traditional Tea is not served on Sundays.

"Our tea at the Langam was wonderful. There were more guests than I expected for a Monday afternoon, and only one server. But, she was wonderful. She was polite, friendly, professional, and very efficient. The sandwiches and sweets were delicious. We felt very satisfied. We enjoyed being able to have a relaxing, conversational time. It's nice to be in an environment where you can have a conversation!We"

"It is located in beautiful garden of the hotel. The picturesque view outside the window was nostalgic. Live piano music in the hall was adding huge ambiance to the setting. When I first sat down, I loved what I saw and heard. The service was OK, not impressive. The main server seemed to be very busy. I often have to call her up to serve more tea. During our 2 hours tea time. There were total 3 servers came by to ask us if we need anything else. I felt kind of rushed. I would rather there be only one server dedicated to certain tables. Sandwich was awesome, but too little to fill an adult's stomach. Kid's menu sandwiches were also very yummy. Overall, I Will not recommend this place to a friend. I am not coming back in the future either."

"We had the traditional Tiffin Tea and it was a disappoinment. All of the items were pre-made, by the time it came to us all were dry and no longer fresh! We asked if we can have less sweets and couple more finger sandwiches, the answer is no because the chef is not available!
The quality of the tea is very good.
Will not be going back again!"

I have participated in the TiffinT ea at The Langham Hotel in Pasadena, both as a host and a guest, and it always lives up to its reputation for quality,ambiance, and good fare. It is my number one "go to" spot for tea."

"Took a client who didnt quite appreciate the tiffin tea..sandwiches were so so and there were no hot items from the menu - although begrudgingly the Lobby Lounge staff agreed to give my two guests a choice off food from the bar but we had to wait till 2 (our reservation was for 1) for them to get the hot food."

"Both times we've been to Tea we walked into the bar area and waited awkwardly to be greeted by someone, ANYONE, for several minutes. It was very unnerving and unwelcoming, especially when one of the servers was doing something behind the bar not far from us and then went into the kitchen. She didn't greet us or tell us that she'd be with us "in a minute" - nothing. We were finally seated;the food and service were good. When we left we walked around the grounds for about 10 minutes and as we were going to the valet for our car, one of the servers found us waiting and told us that we hadn't been charged for the meal and could we wait? We waited about 5-6 minutes while she took our card. She was friendly enough, but it was inconvenient & odd."
