a la carte is available. The stall is welcoming, helpful, and attentive. Try the side order of Fries (in the fine Belgian tradition)

"Seems to have gone downhill. Neither food nor service were as good as last time. I gave instructions to omit onions from my dish, and they overdid it, removing salt, pepper, garlic -- all flavorings. It was pretty bad. Waiter should be able to manage such a request."

"Since the restaurant changed hands/chef; it is not worth going. The menu has retained a lot of the same appetizers/entrees; but, the quality is definitely not there. Too bad! It used to be one of our favorites. When the homemade sorbet is terrible, that says it all!"

"Service and food was decent. My only complaint was when I asked for fresh pepper for my fries, the waiter didn't listen when I asked him to stop putting more pepper on, and gave me 3-4 more turns of pepper, which ended up making for overly-pepper fries--I couldn't even eat over half of them! Don't know why he didn't listen when I asked him to stop--that messed up my french fry experience!"

"The restaurant has a new owner, the former Executive Chef of Circa in Foggy Bottom of DC. He was our waiter and there is a new fresh attitude at the restaurant focusing on making it a special experience with an upbeat attitude. The food continues to be excellent and Eddie, the new owner, promised new dishes in the future. We are pleased to know our favorite Great Falls restaurant is alive and well with a bright future."

"From our dinner, it seems as if it was a smooth transition to new ownership. Many of the menu items have remained the same, as well as some new specials. The fish special was delicious, and my husband's steak was cooked to perfection. We love having this restaurant close-by, and are happy to see that the quality of the food is still delicious."

"The transition to new owners appears to be proceeding well. The food was excellent. In fact, my recent cassoulet was superior to my previous dish. My companion's bouillabaisse was reported to be as good as it had been. We shared an excellent lobster salad as an appetizer.
The new owner seems personable and quite present in the front of the house."

"Unfortunbately, there has been a change of ownership at this restaurant and I can truly say that it is no longer a neighborhood gem. My wife and I went on Valentine's Day and experienced horrible service. The food took forever to get, and at first we were given the wrong dishes. I hope that this restaurant works out all the bugs. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone right now."

"On Valentine's Day, I took my wife to this local restaurant, under new management. They were busy and seemed overwhelmed from a service perspective. We were seated and 15 minutes passed with no menu or drinks being offered - the staff seemed oblivious and disorganized. People seated 5 minutes after us grabbed a waiter and ordered drinks and asked for menus immediately after being seated (experienced customers?). Before we ordered, suddenly a poached pear salad was plunked down in front of us - we eventually had to take charge and ask for menus and wine. Then, our entrees arrived before our appetizers. While the food was good, the place was chaotic - unacceptable for a $75 prix fixe meal."

"I rated the overall poor on all of the above. I had gone to their website to view their menu. They had listed a pre fix menu ($30 per person) as well as the regular menu. When we got to there we were seated in a very cramped space and noticed that there was a fixed menu already on the table that listed $75 per person and were told that this was the only menu available. No where on the website did it mention a "special" menu for Valentines Day. I had also called a few day before to add another person to our party. I was not made aware of the change in the menu. That price was too steep for me to pay. We ultimately left and did not eat dinner at Mediterranee."

"New owners here, so we thought that we would order from the featured "specials" for the evening that the knowledgable server announced when serving cocktails. We were extremely happy with our choices: First we shared a wonderful mussel appetizer in a light creamy saffron broth with crusty bread to soak up the yumminess. Then I ordered the Rockfish and it came cooked to perfection with an artichoke sauce on a bed of the best polenta I think that I have ever tasted and crisp snow peas. My niece had the Brook Trout topped with lump crabmeat and mussels also served with that delicious polenta and declared it the best meal she has enjoyed out in quite a while!

"We have been going to the Mediterranee for about 6 years but this was the first time under new management. Previously, we've enjoyed the french country menu. This time we ordered the mesclun salad, mahi mahi special entree and as it was my friend's birthday we received a creme caramel dessert complimentary from the Restaurant. The meal was very tasty and we will surely go back."
