"This was our first time at this restaurant and too say the least, it was great. It was a pleasent suprise after walking in. We were greated and sat quickly. The service was fast and eficiant.
I reccomend this restaurant to all and I will be back.

"Our enjoyment of our meal was eclipsed by the management indelicately hinting that we had overstayed our welcome - unfortunately although we enjoyed our food (compliments to the chef) there are so many other restaurants that are much more welcoming to their fist time guests."

"Our server was excellent ... personable and attentive. My husband spent most of his career in the spirits sales industry, so over the years we have had many exceptional dining experiences. He is especially appreciative when the owner takes the time to briefly greet and/or visit the tables; this did not happen on this visit to Bungalow. That being said, we still had a very enjoyable and delicious dinner, and we will return in the future."

"The food was delightful. The wine list is spectacular. The service was great (friendly server & manager). The hostesses were not very attentive, but they were young. The booths are very cozy and quaint. The lighting was perfect. Overall, everything was wonderful. We will definitely make it one of our regular spots for dinner & drinks!"

"It was my first time attending this venue and I put a lot on the line testing it out on Valentines Day! I was pleased that the restaurant was romantic and intimate; perfect for a date! Our server was very attentive, and was present just enough to let us know he was there to service our every need without interrupting our coversation. "The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. It was restaurant week and the wait staff didn't give you the same attention if you were ordering off of the prefix menu vs the regular menu. Almost seemed like they were miffed when we asked for the other menu. I have eaten there many times and will go back, just not their best showing."

"Didn't have a good experience and will not return. To others: Be sure and request a table upstairs, and not in the impersonal downstairs basement. It doesn't feel like a fine dining experience down there. We went for Restaurant Week and tho they advertised $25 dinners, there were choices; We chose the $29 Filet but it couldn't have been bigger than 3 oz, certainly not worth it. We brought a special old bottle of wine with us and our server manhandled it. We hardly got any service from him, no checking on us. But the topper was the table next to us. The server brought their check and asked if they needed anything else. They said "yes, the desert we ordered!". He brought the check without bringing their dessert! Poor service, mediocre food."

"Although I am not a "regular" by any means, this is my fourth visit and I have found them all to be enjoyable. The service was excellent and the food was very good. My wife and I like different "colors" of wine, so we usually have to drink by the glass and I found the "by the glass" selection somewhat limited."

"The food was delicious as was the cozy ambiance. Our server, unfortunately, was very rude. This took quite a bit away from our experience. For a restaurant to earn top raves, in our opinion, the service is just as important as the food. My boyfirend and I dine quite a bit at very nice and top rated establishments in our area. We have dined here many times before and maybe we will try again."

"I've heard great things about this restaurant but I don't think we liked it enough to go back. Although we had a reservation, we had to wait close to half an hour in a crowded bar. Our server was nice and the service was okay. We had to ask for utensils for our soup and entrees. A simple dessert took almost 10 minutes to come out, when everyone else was almost done with their dessert (I was never asked if I wanted dessert and had to ask for it when the souffles for the others came out.) The food was just okay. Good scene but won't be back."

"maybe because we went on restaurant week, but my wife and I felt rushed and food was not good. I think it is hit or miss, because my brother has enjoyed it in the past though my mother agrees that food was not prepared all that well the times she has gone there. If you are in the mood for steak go else where. We did enjoy the bread, though would not have received it if we did not ask the server for it. It will be hard to give second chance on this place.

"I've been going to The Bungalow for over 10 years, and every dining experience has been very good (how many places can you say that about?). The food is always excellent, the staff is always helpful and friendly. We've had many special occasion celebrations here, and everyone has always enjoyed themselves and been really impressed. It's a great place for 2 people or 10 people. Wonderful!!"

"I wish for once I could go to a nice restaurant that didn't have a TV in the bar. Our quiet conversation, a dining room away was interrupted by "What?", as we needed to repeat ourselves over the roar of exuberant college football fans on a Saturday night.

That said, the service from our waiter was great, the wine list was substantial, and courses were served with very little delay. The food end of this restaurant seems to be running very well.

I would advise caution on ordering the Sea Bass. Ours was overcooked enough that it was served brown-side down, not very flaky and a bit dry.

The fillet mignon however, was perfect in taste and temperature, and the garnish/presentation on all of the dishes was nice."

"Maitre'd was not warm and inviting and Sean (waiter) was rushed, cold and not very approachable. His trainee, Ashley, was cordial and very nice. Would not go out of my way to re-visit although the cozyness of the booth was wonderful!"
