"It was quiet only because we were there on a Sunday. Lamb and tuna poke were outstanding. Variety on the menu made it easy to eat with Kosher considerations in mind."

"1. Portions too small 2. Tiny menu, they were "between" menus 3. Blacken Shrimp was a horrible meal, the noodles had a sauce that was a step below Paul Newmans grocery brand. 4. My husband had a fish dish that was bland and TINY. 5. For the price it was a complete waste. We had to go out to eat after 6. Not a good way to spend $60 7. I will not recommend Coral Room to a friend"

"This was the second time we ate at this great little place in Highlands. We had calamari, blackened prawns and bass. The food was excellent and the bass was a new small plates menu item deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. My sister is a foodie from Chicago who ate here last time we where here and she now lists this as one of her favorite restaurants in Denver. We will definitely be back again."

"The service was great and food very good with a unique twist to the menu items. I had the Duck Comfit Omelet and would order it again. Bacon Bloody Marys were enjoyed! Comfortable, no frills atmosphere. The room is loud so if you are looking for quiet conversation it won't be here!"

"We eat out for breakfast/brunch quite a bit. We have our usual favorites but for mothers day thought we would try something new and nice. The service was not great- took a while for someone to come to our table, the food was just ok nothing to make me want to return anytime soon. In a neighborhood with a lot of fantastic food options I don't plan on returning here anytime soon."

"The evening was fun. Drinks and calamari at the bar and then to the dining room for a wonderful trout dinner. My husband loved his duck as well. This is a small, but very good restaurant in the Highlands that we enjoy have date night at. Cocktails are always fun here and the staff and patrons are all super friendly."

"Every single thing we ordered was delectable. We cleaned our plates. The only thing I would have to say on the downside is that the lemon drop martini was not so great."

"Great food that is sourced with an eye to local and sustainable sources, with a good array of gluten-free options available. Really enjoyed the margaritas and the homemade ice cream! Others in our party were wowed by the bacon cheesecake (unfortunately, not gluten-free). Service was great as well. We would come back to this restaurant again."

"We had very good food and service at Coral Room. Ir was the first time there for my elderly mother-in-law and my husband, and we took an out-of-town guest. The fish dishes--salmon, Colorado bass and escolar--were really good, but my husband said the steak (filet) was overpriced at about $29. We'll go back."

"We went mid-week during restaurant week and were able to get a table for 6 on the day of. The small bar area seemed like a popular hang out and was filled by 8. The menu was broad enough to offer something for everyone while not being overwhelming. All of our food was incredible and people were happy to be able to exchange sides upon request. While dinner was excellent, my favorite portion was dessert. We looked at the dessert menu and spent a good 5 minutes debating what we could split because everything looked incredible. We went with a Cheesecake and S'more dish and we were NOT disappointed! We loved them!! Out waitress was very nice and attentive, and the evening was wonderful. Thank you Coral Room, we will be back."

"We visited for Denver Restaurant Week. The food was very good and nicely portioned for a multi-course menu. Our group of 4 tried everything that was on the special menu. Every dish was very tasty and well presented. Our server was attentive without interrupting. They have a couple of local Colorado beers on tap, a good wine list and cocktails. This place isn't very large so I definitely recommend reservations and if you plan to go on the weekend, make those reservations well in advance. We will definitely visit again to explore the menu further."

"Had a reservation and they sat a group with no reservation in front of us. Since they were sat at the last 4 top we had to wait an additional 10 minutes past our reservation time. Service wasn't great. Will not go back."

"The prawn dish was just ok. My friend and I were both disappointed. The lamb dish was much better and I enjoyed the soup. The service was lacking. Overall not the best experience."

"The evening was going very well until we waited more than 1/2 hour for our dinner entrees. It was completely inexcusable! Diners near us were seated later than us and they had received and finished their entrees before ours even arrived! It really ruined the evening since we had plans afte rwards.I commented to the server about how long it took for our food and she said "we got really busy". That is NOT MY PROBLEM! and if you were THAT busy why were diners around us getting served their entrees! What a ridiculous thing to say to a customer. We would have ordered dessert but given how late we were already and how disappointed I was in the service, I couldn't wait to get the heck out of there! I see no reason to return or recommend it."

"We're glad we found this place from a search in OpenTable. Very unassuming, but good food, great service, wonderful opportunity to catch up during dinner. There's a time and place for a more happening and lively atmosphere, too, but this fit our purpose really well that night. The bottle of red wine from Chile was a great value!"

"I've been here several times in the last few years with friends, and most recently on a date with my boyfriend. The food has been tasty every time and the service is great. Consistently a great restaurant which is hard to beat."
