"Great spot to take your date, excellent restaurant,customer service was second to none,waitress (Ciara i think was her name was very professional and polite I would give this restaurant a perfect 10,but the shrimp was over cooked. I will have to try something else next time."

"We had truly excellent service! They have a notable wine selection and cocktail menu. I loved my glass of S. Blanc and my husband's martini was delicious. I would definitely go back and have cocktails outside sometime, as it is in a great location on the Plaza.
However, I say that I would not recommend it to a friend because I would not recommend the food. My Alaskan salmon was undercooked. The bed of veggies the salmon was on were completely lacking in flavor. I know they are trying to keep the calories low, but the flavor was absent. My husband's steak was at least flavorful, as was the sauce. However, it must have cooked on a grill with uneven temperatures. One half of his steak was medium well while the other half was medium rare."

"A birthday lunch with girlfriends turned into a delightful and festive gathering! A surprise of mini-desserts with lit candle topped it off. Our server Stephanie was outstanding and attentive. She even gave us each a framed photo of our group to take with us as a gift! A happy lunch to remember! Will plan to go often!"

"Our trip to Seasons 52 was superb. The waitress treated us as if we were her only table. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was outstanding and there was very little wait time for the appetizer...and then between finishing the appetizer and getting our dinner. It was a perfectly-timed service. I loved everything about this restaurant and will most definitely be going back in the near future."

"My family took my daughter to Seasons 52 for her 12th birthday and received the royal treatment! The staff was entirely attentive, and so accommodating. They gave my daughter a birthday card when we arrived and took care of us from that point on! The food is amazing and so very fresh. My daughter loves the raviolis and got it for her appetizer and her main course. The mini desserts are wonderful and small enough to try several, which can be dangerous, but well worth it! Hats off to our server, Lisa, and all the staff who came by and personally wished my daughter a Happy Birthday! We will be back soon!"

"We visited for lunch with friends who were from out of town; after several hours of strolling the Plaza, we were ready for lunch and some time to chat, and Seasons 52 was perfect for both. Sam, our server, was great: attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, ready to remove empty plates without rushing us. We ordered the hummus appetizer; the lavosh crackers were superb, as was the hummus. Our friends ordered flatbreads, which are large and yummy; my husband had the fish tacos, and he really enjoyed them. I had the vegetarian tasting platter and was the envy of the table. :) The little desserts are fantastic! Atmosphere was cozy without being staid or stuffy, and casual is fine. Will def return!!"

"1st time visiting. Bartender and scene before dinner were excellent. We waited over 10 minutes after we were sat while servers/hosts walked by our table and had to go back up to the host stand to get served. No server had been assigned our table. Our server was new and wasn't knowledgeable about the wine list and had limited knowledge of the menu. Food was decent but our scallops and salmon dishes could have had more flavor. Upon leaving the hostesses asked how everything was and we were truthful. The manager did meet us before we left and offered some gift cards for our next trip and was apologetic. If not for the young female bartender from MN and the manager I would not visit again but now will definitely give it another shot."

"In the past we've enjoyed Seasons 52. Not this time. We sat in the bar which had been open seating. Now tables are reserved. It used to be pleasant to find a table & listen to music when you wanted or sit in the dining area when you didn't. Now that choice is gone. The bar is staffed by 3 but no one knows which diners are theirs. I ordered a salmon salad with dressing on the side. I was brought a tuna salad. My companion got to let his salad sit while they remade it. When it came, the salmon was undercooked & the dressing was not on the side. The ticket was wrong so I don't believe this was a kitchen mistake. But the waitress did have time to chat with the diners next to us for 10 minutes about her apartment. Very poor service."

"My wife and I love Season's 52. My wife is a vegan and we have difficulty finding her a quality place to get an actual meal. We have never been disappointed with our experiences at 52. Also we had a wonderful server on Saturday night ( I think it was Raisa) sp?....... She was fairly new but was incredibly attentive and kept us feeling like we were her only table. Well done!

"The food here is always amazing and the service staff always wonderful. But this time, we had a small issue with one of our orders and our server, without saying a word, deducted it from our bill. His customer service and professionalism completely negated the problem and ensures we will again return to Seasons 52 -- already one of our favorite restaurants in KC."

"The best word to describe our server is aloof. She seemed to try to patronize me without being a real person. Disappointing that I had to experience this at Seasons 52. She seemed to disappear for long periods of time and when she tended to our table, her interactions with us were short, almost as if we had interrupted her day.
Aside from our waitress, the food was phenomenal. My girlfriend's steak was tender, so much so that it could almost be cut without a knife. My salmon was amazing and cooked perfectly. I love the food at Seasons and I chalk up the bad point of this experience to the server, not the establishment."

"I love the seasonal concept and that everything is under 475 calories. However they were out of the tuna and peach tea two of the things we tried to order. I ended up with the pork medallions and my husband with the strip steak. Both were simple and tasty. The sauce served with each was just ok and got kind of jelly like as it cooled (i am a slow eater though). The asparagus was cooked perfectly as well (crisp tender). Our server was very helpful and friendly."

"The service at Seasons 52 has always been very good and once again they did not disappoint the day I had lunch with a friend. The waiter was very attentive yet left us alone at times so that we could catch up with each other. The food was very good. The flat bread appetizers are one of my favorite menu items. I had the chipotle shrimp flat bread with goat cheese and toasted pineapple along with a small salad. For dessert, I had one of the miniature desserts - the pecan pie with caramel sauce. It was just the right size. I have a weakness for caramel and make my own caramel sauce frequently so this dessert had my name on it. The dessert was delicious! The food, service, and ambience made for a pleasant experience."

"The cozy, intimate ambiance was the first thing I noticed. Our server Michael was very friendly, attentive and efficient. He as well made some great recommendations on drinks and the menu. Our appetizer to our desert were all nicely portioned, light tasting yet full of flavor. I would highly recomend Season's 52 to anyone wanting a fresh alternative to the standard restaurant."

"Our birthday party of four was delighted with cocktails and a birthday card for the honored guest! We each ordered something different and every choice was delicious, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Our server was knowledgeable, fun, and subtly attentive throughout the evening. When desserts were displayed, we didn't think we had room for them, but ended up all making heavenly choices...the perfect ending to a wonderfully celebratory birthday dinner. All of us will come again and again, with or without a special occasion to celebrate."

"You are always treated very nicely at the Seasons 52. Sometimes the noise is high, as our table was near the kitchen. The drinks are accurate and good if lacking somewhat in inventiveness. The food (salmon in this case) was wonderful. Very nice décor. It doesn't matter if you are in the bar or inside, your table and waiting staff is excellent."

"I had been here shortly after it opened and this restaurant has really matured into a top spot on the Plaza. The restaurant is well furnished with plenty of space between the tables. We were greeted and seated quickly and competently. The service was excellent, as good as I have had in Kansas City. Adam was our waitperson and he was always available but not intrusive. I asked him for a glass of wine suggestion and it was the least expensive but was everything we asked for. The food was excellent. My filet was perfect and nicely presented. Service was as leisurely as we requested. Coffee and dessert were well executed. A great meal."

"My husband and I came here for our one year wedding anniversary. The staff was great and friendly. Our meals were delicious. I had the scallops and my husband had the filet they both were amazing. We also had a salad and stuffed mushrooms which were also very good. I had a cosmopolitan to drink it was pineapple I can not remember the name of it but it was great and worth the money. We had a great time and would defiantly come back. The mini desserts are to die for! Our waiter had great recommendations and was very familiar with the menu."

"Couldn't have had a better time than the night we spent at Seasons 52. We hadade reservations but had to Chechen them, twice, because of time constraints and they couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful about it. We got there, sat right down and had glasses of wine (which were very tasty) in under five minutes. The waitress Emma was very helpful explaining the way they prepared their food and the various specials and we both loved our choices based off of her recommendations. Desert there is a must. Great night out and we will be back."
