"Some of the sushi was ok, but about half the stuff we got was not good. It could be that I am accustomed to a more traditional style of sushi, but there were some flavours that were very off-putting, or some rolls that lacked flavour all together."

"Bones in the sushi, to not as fresh as it could be. Not sure if they are just getting rid of old sushi for the 5-6 discount time ... but the sushi could of been better. Also they almost forgot it was a birthday ... had to remind them...to bring out some candles even though I reserved and wrote it down as comments in the reservations ... but really nice and kind service. I dont mean to sound so picky. Place was pretty cool its just I know it could be better...and my comments are meant to be as constructive only..."

"We decided to try this restaurant after reading rave reviews on Avenue Mags' Calgary Best Restaurant. We tried it on a warm Friday Night and surprisingly found the restaurant empty. 1. Ambiance - Fair2. Service - Poor. There was only 1 waitress and the service was lousy and slow. 3. Food - Fair. Not worth for the $$$ paid. We went to Zipang a couple of weeks ago and found it much better and appetizing. The Green Tea served was almost cold and was poured from the same flask over and over again.I had a special night planned for my spouse who loves Sushi and the experience left us dissatisfied. Wont dare to go back there again."

"Food was amazing. however, drinks were overly priced. Ive lived in different parts of the world been to the best restaurants, never had to pay 11.50 dollars for a glass of wine."
