"The only good experience was the wine. Steak for two over priced with plenty of fat and grizzle! Sides came out cold had to be sent back, by the time they arrived we were done.The manager bought us dessert - didn't cut it."

"Very disappointing. I ordered the cheeseburger, the roll was cold and the caramelized onions were hard to find. When I asked to change my french fries for a vegetable, the waiter said there would be a $2 charge. I think restaurants should encourage healthy eating!"

"Never ceases to amaze me how this place is consistently good.The bar is welcoming and always professional with the best bartenders in Boca.Cooper remembers your drink and anticipates every need. Our server Adam (and his trainee) were simply spot on. The Rib Eye is a great size and well prepared.The sides are huge for sharing. The prime rib is a signature dish and consistently outstanding. From the moment you walk in this restaurant you know it is going to a special occasion. Strongly suggest you try it."

"For a restaurant that is noted for its beef, the snapper was outstanding. The onion soup doesn't get much better. Only disappointment was the salmon filet on the menu was described as "wild-caught" but the waiter told me there was only farm-raised due to a shortage of "wild.""

"Food was fantastic but the service and expectations horribly lacking. Was an effort to just ask for bread and butter. Maybe expectations were higher paying $100 per person for the meal, but nobody checked on how everything was, nobody came to ask if anything else was needed. Even when paying for bill we never received change from what we paid to then leave a tip. How do you give $600 for a $550 meal and not expect to get change or at least be asked if you want change. You would think the waiter would think we would be leaving more than 9% for a tip. Dont understand why restaurant is so popular but food was good and considering we drove over an hour to get there we probably wont be going back. Chocolate chip cookie was awesome desert."

"As usual, we had a great time. This is our favorite restaurant for occasions. This time we went with 3 friends to celebrate our anniversary. The service could not be better!! We were shown to a table for 5 in a very open place and asked if we could be seated elsewhere. No problem. The head waiter showed us another table in a much nicer, private area. Again, the food and the service was wonderful. As soon as we asked for something it was there. Also, thank you so much for the complimentary dessert. Delicious!!!"

"Always thought Abe & Louie's was one of the best restaurants in S Florida. This visit was a disappointment. Brussels sprouts were undercooked and indelible. My veal chop was very fatty (not of good quality). The bread pudding had no sauce and was baked to the point that it was dry as a bone. My companion's lamb chops were wonderful and so were the mushrooms - but, this meal was not up to par."

"Our service was wonderful. Regarding the food, my Prime Rib totally incredible, my dates Filet was dry. When making the reservation for a special Anniversary, I requested a booth for the Anniversary celebration. We got the booth. No mention of the celebration. My date enjoyed the flavor and juiciness of my take home Prime Rib the next day and commented there was no comparison. Her Filet was really a poor cousin to the Prime Rib.

"Maitre'D and service staff were first rate. I know this is a popular restaurant but I do not find the food very good. For lunch I ordered a starter salad which was tasteless. Then my cheeseburger came and while the burger was good the bun was not and what is a hamburger in a steakhouse without a good bun? Again, very popular and many people I know like it but while the place is very nice I don't think the food is good and this was probably my 5th time here since it opened. Friends pick it for business meetings since it is so well located."

"The top steak house of the area. The tastest Porterhouse that is served and always cooked to the requested level. Ordered side dishes were fresh and hot and complemented the main course. "Although we had a 7:15 reservation, we were not seated until 7:55. It appeared that the restaurant was either overbooked or very disorganized. When we first arrived, we were told it would be just a few minutes. The host didn't remember our name. We've dined at Abe & Louie's many times and if the food wasn't as wonderful as it is, we would hesitate to return."

"Abe and Louie's is still the best restaurant in Palm Beach county. The bone in filet mignon is beyond compare! Our waiter was exceptional, taking everyone's order without writing it down, lots of special requests and everyone got exactly what they ordered. Recently went there for lunch and was surprised how well priced it was and the variety of selections."

"Fabulous service mouthwatering food reasonable charge. Arrived on time, told table would be ready in 10 minutes. At bar,excellent wines by glass all $10 or less.Server, Gee, was old school charming classical. Sweet potato soup suggested, but Gee said "order a cup not a bowl" to enjoy the main course. Good advice. Abe and Louie salad at $10 was excellent & tuna tartare superb. Each large enough to share, but all tasted each. Prices about same as any other steakhouse, about $42, but my sirloin could have served all three of us. My wife and guest shared bone-in ribeye. No sharing charge. Enough left over for take home. Both sensational. Baked potato rolled in Kosher salt big enough for 3.Desserts $10. Espresso $3. Unheard of in steakhouse!"

"Our service was excellent. However, my seafood dinner was average at best. The seafood special was overcooked, with the fish being very tough. Based upon my first dining experience at Abe & Louie's, I'm not sure I would return."

"There are many steak places around. I think Abe and Louie's stands out! The bread basket alone is a good reason to go. The crab cocktail was wonderful, the beet salad was unique. The steak was cooked to perfection and just delicious! The sides were a wonderful compliment to the steak. I have not named any because all the sides are great! Dessert.....a huge piece of chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream....how could that be bad. Maybe there could have been a little more ice cream served because the cake was huge and the ice cream was a very, very small scoop. I think everyone should go there but not when I want to go back because I want to be able to get a reservation, the joint is jumping......enjoy!"

"Service was excellent. Beet-salad with poaced pears was too sweet. but other salads were good. We were group of 4. Three of us had steak, all different cuts of beef. I had tuna steak and the seasoning over powered the fish. Beef eateras enjoyed theiir meals. Restaurant is loud, where we were seated it was difficult to carry on conversation."

"The restaurant has always been a family favorite. We were there on Wednesday evening and felt that there was a lack of service in so much as the place was packed. More staff was needed. The food was very good, steaks and prime rib, excellant! The noise was out of control. Of course we wil still continue to go to Abe and Louie's!!"

"Danielle- superb service! The ahi tuna was done to perfection, as was the bone-in ribeye. Delicious key-lime pie with fresh raspberry sorbet. Our only complaint would be they had no 21 year-old Balvenie. Loved the food and especially Dani's service!! While this restaurant is a romantic spot in setting, it's very noisy."

"Everything was excellent although we had to wait one half hour past our reservation time for a table. It seems that people who requested a specific table number when making their reservation were seated immediately. I was told if you request a specific table they will hold that table for you. We did not request a table number so we had to wait. We'll know for next time!"
