Signature starters include Crispy Calamari with a Sweet Ginger Crust; Duck Spring Roll; Pan Seared Ahi Tuna; and Remington's selection of Artisanal Cheeses. "Dined there on Monday.... not always the best night for a resturant, service was great and the food was 50/50. The brined pork chop was wonderful, the new york strip was overcooked and served over potatoes that were not seasoned at all. The desert sundae was served in a mason jar and the ice cream was supposed to be flavored was ordinary vanilla. They also have a wonderful bar and had a very good entertainer there, a real surprise for a Monday night."

"We went to Remington's this passed Saturday with some friends. After a brief wait, we were seated. The food was delicious and service was very good. However, I have to wonder what the bread plates were for because we never received any. I did see a young man with a platter of various breads, but he never came to our table, or to the tables surrounding us. This is my only complaint... and it really became a joke between us as none of us 'need' bread. After dinner, and a lovely dessert - we moved to the bar for another cocktail. We had a very nice chat with the bartender and manager. All and all - a very nice experience. I would definitely return.
PS - good to see Manasquan getting back to business after Sandy! Yay!"

"Was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant over the weekend. The choices on the menu are diverse and appealing, service is attentive and knowledgeable, and the food presentation and taste is above average. My only note for this visit: the bread is best served warm. Loved the salads, the filet mignon, and the outstanding berry dessert! Will return to sample other delicious menu items in the future!"

"Second visit and it was as good as the first. Service and food are outstanding. Both visits with a party of 6+ and everyone raved. Short ribs are fabulous, scallops live up to the signature dish designation, guacamole with shrimp cocktail an interesting combo - did I mention best guacamole we have ever tasted. Steaks cooked perfectly and fish was very fresh. Remington's is one of the very best dining experiences New Jersy has to offer."

"We arrived for a 6:15 rsvr & were promptly seated.Our water glasses were filled immediately. It took about 10 mins before we were brought menus ,which was'nt so bad, but it took yet an additional 15 mins before the wine list we requested had finally appeared! Our server was polite but never broke a smile, & seemed very detached & clearly had no real knowledge of the cuisine.On the other hand, I'm not sure if there was a sommelier on staff, but a very pleasant, knowledgeable guy was very helpful with questions I had about the wine list. Service was good, & nicely spaced between courses. The sushi grade tuna appy was excellent& pork chop entree was perfectly cooked."

"this was my second time there, first experience was much better as far as food. the second visit was for valentine's day and the menu was fixed, the food was average at best and the seating was cramped and not conducive for a romantic evening. I will blame this experiance on the Special day's menu and seating, and not hesitate to visit again for a normal night out with the regular menu."

"Remington's is my new favorite place to go! Such a beautiful and simple restaurant with amazing food and staff. So far I have been there twice, once for my little sisters birthday- she has a not so experienced pallet but still loved the food, the second time was a romantic night out with my boyfriend for Valentine's day. The staff is extremely friendly and had nothing but amazing recommendations! The muttled basil and lemon martini is so amazing and refreshing! My complements to the chef!! It is the perfect restaurant."

"We came in again for a wonderful Thursday evening...enjoying our dinner while listening to a great trio playing 60's and early 70's folk rock. Our dinners were excellent, my guest had the Chilean Sea Bass, apparently the best piece of fish she had ever had! Mine was the Tuna, which was a daily addition, let me tell you this dish was extraordinary, and I am a Tuna nut! We were advised to get a really interesting Viognier to go with our selections, and we were not dissapointed. If you have not been to this place, get there. Service, and food, there is no equal locally. Plus entertainment! Thanks as always..."

"This was our first time back in quite a while, and am I glad we went. The food was wonderful, wine selections were great, and service was attentive and helpful. Our server was knowledgable and made great recommendations. Lots of changes here and all good. We knew our server from previous visits and she was always the bright spot in an otherwise lackluster evening. As we live on the barrier island, choices right now are limited yet we still want to support all the local businesses.

"The atmoshere is friendly and offers both tables for the casual dress walkin as well as linen dressed tables for those that like to be a little more formal. The menu offers a wide varirty of selections, changes often, and all the dishes in any course always met or exceeded our expectations. The wine list covers a broad spectrum of prices and variaties. The staff is always helpful and very energetic."

"Normally we go to Remington's and have a great time. The service and food are always great. Thursday we made a last minute reservation, and we expected it to be somewhat quiet, (due to the cold) We found a engergetic crowd, in the bar room..our prefered spot. There was this really good three piece band playing, it completely added to the expereience! A foot note, had a seared tuna entree and it was easily the best we have ever enjoyed. If you have never been to this place, give it a try! its a must go."
